Momonga walked through the hallway of the st floor, the treasure vault. With her were Albedo, Yuri Alpha, and CZ2128 Delta or just Shizu for short. The four of them were moving down to the vault to acquire some world level items. The whole reason they were doing so was because it was the only way to make sure that the NPCs were safe from whatever enemy they were facing.
Who that was? It was a mystery. Utterly and completely. That was what set everyone one edge. The simple fact that they let something like this happen was an utter and total mistake on their part, or rather, on Momonga’s part.
She had beat herself up over it. She had reprimanded herself over and over it. Now was the time to actually fix it. They walked down the hall until they were met with a rather glorious sight.
Hills of gold greeted their eyes. Thousands upon thousands of coins y across the walls. If an extremely cleanly person saw such a state, they would freak out. Yet, everything was in its own pce. Each coin was pced in the right pile. Each magic item was pced in the right alcove. The sight made the supreme overlord of the great underground tomb of Nazarick happy.
“Alright you three,” she said while stopping in her tracks, the others looked at her, “there is a world item here that releases a poisonous gas all around this pce. That is the reason I chose you three. Now all we need to do is get the items I need to fight Shalltear, understood?” she asked, and the others nodded.
She then turned back around and continued to walk until they were met with another room. This one was smaller, and slightly less cluttered than the st. There, sitting on a couch was an entity that looked exactly like the guild member, “Tabu Smaragdina.”
Albedo looked on, a look of utter confusion flittering to her face, before it was covered with a look of rage and contempt. She raised her fists, so as to bludgeon whoever this was, and spoke.
“Yuri Alpha, Shizu Delta, we kill this interloper!” she shouted, and an amused smirk came to Momonga’s face, “This fiend is masquerading as my creator, Lord Tabu!” she shouted again, and the others raised weapons hesitantly.
This got Momonga ughing. Her arched her back, and let out a wondrously musical ugh. To those outside of the tomb, this ugh would have sounded like that of a viliness. Here though, it was a blessing to hear.
The other three looked at her with quizzical looks. Their faces said it all, after all. Aledo was the only one to look at her lover with a pout on her face. The false tabu simply looked on with a quizzical head tilt to the side.
“Sorry,” Momonga said, “but it was just too funny to see your reactions to my creation,” she finished ughing, and the looks on their faces turned regretful.
“I am sorry, My Lady for not understanding whom this was,” Yuri said as she bowed in apology.
Shizu delta did the same, and Albedo as well. Momonga simply looked at them with her good natured mood still up, and then apologized herself.
“It is fine. After all, I should haver mentioned something about this,” she said while making them stand back up, then she turned to the false Tabu, “show yourself, my creation.”
Now, this is might make reader mad. In the Author’s first Overlord fanfic, he wanted to gender-bend Pandora’s Actor. He didn’t know what people would think of that, so he simply put up a poll. Said poll said not to do so, so he didn’t. now though…
The form of the false Tabu began to shift. His skin turned pale and bubbly. His body began to shift in size and shape. Then, finally what was left a person shaped thing.
A girl, her height was average, her face was bnk except for three holes. Two for the eyes, one for the mouth. Her brown hair was pulled back into a rather tight and curly ponytail.
She wore a tan and deep red, World War three, German officer uniform. A crest of Ainz Ooal Gown was pced on her officer hat, and she saluted a four fingered hand to her brow.
“Pandora’s Actress, Melde mich zum Dienst, Meine Dame!” she shouted, her voice was perfectly average, not abnormal in any way.
Momonga looked on, slightly embarrassed, but not as much as she thought. It was like looking into her past. Yet, because of her gender, Pandora’s Actress did not hit her buttons nearly as much as she thought.
In fact, she felt slightly happy that this NPC was perfectly as she made her. after all, she was made after she had gained the, “World Disaster,” levels. If she had made her earlier in her life, she might be a bit more embarrassed.
“We are simply looking for some world level Items. I believe they were, Avarice and Generosity, Billion Bdes, Depiction of Nature and Society, and Hygieia's Chalice,” she said, and Pandora made a pose.
“OH! WORLD LEVEL ITEMS!” she yelled out in glee, “ITEMS THAT CAN CHANGE THE VERY FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE!” she excimed.
“Yes, we are here to grab some world level Items,” Momonga said, “after that, we are to leave for a while. Though, I pn to have you actually come up to the higher levels of the tomb and meet with all the other floor guardians,” Momonga expined, rubbing her brow in slight exasperation.
“Of course, Meine creator!” Pandora spoke and saluted.
…
As the group of four women walked forward toward a rather specific area, the mausoleum. They walked forth, the three NPCs walking behind the st pyer of the guild. As they went further into the treasury, they looked at the walls.
There, a great number of rather important weapons to the tomb’s history lined the walls. These weapons were, of course, the old weapons and maybe side-arms of the guild members that were no longer there. It was truly surreal to see them here. At least, for the NPCs. For Momonga, it was purely nostalgic.
Soon, they arrived at the location, and it was a bnk, bck wall. Momonga then looked at it with a contemptive look on her face. The wall was completely bnk, no words came to it. The author got that bit wrong, at least, he thinks he got it wrong. He hasn’t seen that episode for a while.
“I believe the passcode is, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man y down his life for his friends,” or I believe that is right,” she said with a hand to her chin.
The bck wall light up with simple text, the words she had just spoken in Latin upon it’s surface. Then, it faded, and the mausoleum was seen. She then turned to her three companions and spoke. Her voice was pin.
“now, you all give me your rings. The golems inside will attack if you have them on,” she said, and Shizu and Yuri gave them over.
Yet, Albedo lingered for but a moment, and then gave it to the overlord. She grabbed the rings and pced them in her inventory. She looked to the succubus, and nodded her head as she turned and walked forward.
There, what they saw shook them. Golems, for all of them. All of the supreme beings. Mimicries of them, dispyed with the arms and armor of their creators. They stopped in front of one, Lord Peroroncino.
“They are getter sloppy. I don’t think I did good enough on these. I don’t want them to be mad at me when I pass on, now do I?” Momonga said with a self-deprecating smile.
She turned to an empty space, her own insignia dispyed above the alcove. She pointed to it, her breath not hitching at all when she spoke.
“That is where I will be dispyed in case if I die. After all, all things end,” she said, then looked down now saddened by her own words, “including friends.”
Yuri Alpha looked on at the golem of her own creator. Tears were flowing from her eyes, her body quivering. Her own emotional suppression kicking in to stop the waterworks. She fell to her knees.
Shizu looked at her own creator’s golem and sighed in sadness. Her emotions not really being dispyed on her face. Yet she kissed the tomb all the same with a solemn vow in her heart to serve their will.
Albedo looked on at the woman she loved, and stepped closer. Momonga heard this, and turned her slightly sad looking faced to her, her brow raised inquisitively.
She then kissed her deeply. Momonga didn’t pull back, she simply stood there and took the kiss deeply, she pushed back even, putting her tongue into it. she then pulled from the overseer.
“I am sorry Albedo, I didn’t mean to bring down the mood,” she who remained said.
“I just don’t want you to leave,” Albedo said with sadness.
"Don’t worry, I won’t as long as I can help it,” Momonga said back.
