Selection is finally over. I am gd that Li Na is my second wife. I understand why that bitch Fen is my first wife. Politics was not something my mother desired.

  "Do you like your picks?" my mother was asking.

  "Yes, and There Are No!" I told.

  "Why is this?" she doubted.

  "well mother, I do not want to Fen in my harem. I have a gut feeling she is going to cause trouble. Having Na there might help, and I think I love Na." I told.

  "well, I need to take my leave and get paces in order on who is going where. Please put Na in my old pace." She stated.

  I nodded and explored my pace. Before I realize it, the setup will arrive. Unwilling to stay, but wanting to see Na. I am dreading this. No rule requires me to stay the night with her.

  Every time I hear her, my stomach hurts. I'm feeling nauseous. At least I do not have to deal with her today. She has lots to learn still. I hope she will do it without drama.

  I am worried about her. At least I have someone watching over her making sure she will be ok. The head trainer backing me up is a relief. Since she was my nanny, she will take care of the woman I love.

  "Shuming, say more about her." I was asking.

He finished.

  "Do not worry, I will take it slow with her. I do not want her to feel frightened here." In a reassuring voice.

  Already at the stables without realizing it. I mounted my horse, ready to py polo with my brothers. We're only free from court and our older brothers' partners during leisure time. I always wondered why I was stuck with the crown prince bel, and they are not.

  We get onto the polo field. Get ready for the game to start. Although it may be dull to some, this sport is our stress-relieving getaway. We can get the ball to score by hitting it hard.

  After finishing our game, we went to the pagoda, had tea, and talked. We are overlooking the pond in our dad's private garden. It is full of trees and flowers lining the path to the pond of koi fish. We enjoy are peaceful visits. It is fragrant smells of the fresh flowers going up the hill.

  We can hear the waterfall going into the pond in the distance. Sometimes we just sit here and listen to it. seeing today was selection day. My brothers want to know who my parents picked for me.

  The first person to question was my youngest brother, asking, "Do you think about who they've chosen for you?"

  As I was sleeping, my dreams took control over me. It felt so real, as if I was present. I can see Na in her room. The surroundings are. Blurriness obscures everything except her and the bed. I can smell the scent of jasmine in the air. As she is taking out her pins in her hair, it falls so slowly down her back. My heart is racing. From behind, I walked up to her. I held her waist with one hand and gripped her hair with the other.

  As the dream continues, as I was pulling her closer to me, I can smell her scent of roses on her skin. She smells so nice; my dragon is getting rger in the sight and smell of her. I cannot control it anymore. It feels like I have an animal instinct towards her. I just want to take control of her body. As I was going to undress her, I cannot fight it anymore.

  I can hear banging on my door. Shuming's banging on the door turned a dream into reality as though there was an assassin in the courtyard. Why did he come in at that moment during the dream? I threw on my clothes as fast as I could. I hope nothing happened to Na. I quickly opened the door.

  "What's going on? Is Na okay?" as I cried out.

  "Na is fine. There is commotion happening in the crown princess's," he responded.

  As we approach Fens' pace, we hear commotion. Her voice is unpleasant, like a tortured cat. The worst sound in the world. I wonder what pissed her off this time. I notice she is very unhappy that she is not at my dad's harem.

  To avoid seeing someone getting hurt by her tantrum, we ran as fast as we could. There's no knowing what this woman might do. I thought to myself, it's only the first day.

  We arrived at the gate, we can see her throwing things at the maids and eunuchs. One of them comes running out.

  "What is going on here?" I inquired.

  He quickly kneeled on the ground. "she dislikes the color of her dress for the wedding. So, she ripped it up. And threw things." The eunuch replied.

  "Shuming, get all the staff out of this pce and you leave her alone for the night. I will not entertain her tantrum." I told.

  "Yes, your majesty." He responded.

  Shuming got all the staff out for their safety and just left the dy-in-waiting for her.

  Suddenly she comes out screaming, "why did you do it?"

  "your highness, the crown prince ordered it. He wants to see the staff safe." Shuming answered.

  She ended up trying to strike him, but he dodged it. I stepped between the two and gave her a look of disappointment and me and Shuming left her screaming at us as we walked away.

  "She is a veritable nightmare." I said to Shuming.

  "You are certainly busy with that one," snapped, with a ugh.

  I finally got back to my pace and can only hope that the rest of the month will fly by until Na can join me. Well, two days have passed. At least court matters are keeping me busy and away from that witch is the day after tomorrow, since it is my wedding day for her.

  At least I do not have to spend the night there. We just must do the ceremony. I just must remind myself of that.

  Suddenly, I hear my mom "are you ok?"

  "When you arrived?" I inquired.

  "Just arriving. She was upset, and no one noticed that. I am worried about you. I have heard of what Fen has been doing tely, so I came to see for myself." She responded.

  "mom, do I need to marry her?" I inquired.

  "yes, unfortunately you do. Your father believes she will be a good fit for the family." She responded.

  "Fine, but do I have to consummate wedlock?" I was asking.

  "No, you don't have to." She responded.

  "Thank you. I can't stand her." I told.

  "well, can you remember what today is?" she has asked.

  "No, what day it is?" having a confused look across my face

  "Well, Na and the other consorts are setting up their paces." She reminds me.

  I was so excited Na was close by. I want to see her, but I know I still must keep my distance from her seeing we are not married yet, but I am so excited about this.

  "Shing, you also will have a marriage ceremony with Na as well." She advised.

  "I am. I get it too." Being so excited that I could not contain myself.

  My heart is jumping out of my chest it feels like. I am having a tough time controlling myself. My mom is ughing at me because I am acting like a little kid with a new toy.

  "I need to take my leave and to go observe now." She says.

  As she walked away, I had to control myself. I do not want to scare Na, but I must at least see her.

  "Shuming, do you know where Na is at?" being excited.

  "Calm down, your highness you might frighten her. Yes, I do right now. She is at the crown princess." He answered.

  We headed over there. I noticed my mom watching as well. As we are observing how things are going. I noticed she was doing great as the second wife. I can hear Fen talking to her.

  "The wedding to the prince is the day after tomorrow." As Fen looked at Na like she was trying to upset Na,

  "Is there anything you need for your big day?" Na asked.

  "No way!" Fen screamed.

  "Mei, Mei, what is going on?" Na was asking.

  Fen was rude no matter how caring Na was. I could not take it anymore, so I just walked away because I cannot come to her rescue just yet. I saw the empress was behind me as well. She did not seem so happy about this.

  "I am going to make sure Na is a good tomorrow. You need to prep for your wedding." The empress informed me.
