CHAPTER XIX

Miguel and the other warriors finally emerged from the Sternentor, which left them right in the middle of the disaster caused by the Judges. They didn’t even measure justice or injustice—they punished everything equally.

—"Look! This planet is completely destroyed. Is this what our world will look like if we leave it in the hands of those four?" —said Rauel, worried.

—"We won’t allow it. Our duty is to stop them, even if it costs us our lives," —Miguel responded, clenching his fist.

Suddenly, they began to hear loud voices coming from everywhere, echoing across the sky. They were greatly shocked by the terrifying power they were feeling...

  —"What incredible power!" —they said.

Without delay, Rafael located the exact origin of the energy:

—"Friends, the presences are over there, and their power is growing," —he said, pointing north.

—"Let’s not waste any more time. Let’s go before they finish what they started!"

Moving at super speed, they rushed to face their terrifying opponents.

Upon arriving, they heard the words of the four being repeated endlessly, as if spoken by thousands. At that moment, they saw the fourth Titan raising his arm. They immediately understood what he was about to do and shouted in unison:

  —"STOP!"

The Judges’ action paused for a moment. One of them turned his head to look at them and, without even moving his lips, said:

—"Such small creatures... how dare you interrupt the sentence? Your judgment is on its way. Return to your world and await it."

Upon hearing this threat, Miguel said:

—"Please listen to me. We know what has happened, and we understand your role. However, we have been appointed to enforce the laws and bring the rebels to trial so that the guilty may answer for their sins. There’s no need to destroy this world or ours because of the mistake of a few. We ask for just one chance to fulfill our mission. We beg you... from the heart."

After this plea from the leader of the Archangels, the Titan glowing red responded:

—"Miguel, commander of the new order... you are insignificant to us."

Hearing that harsh reply, they were instantly frozen. The only word they could utter was:

  —"What?"

  The Titan continued:

—"Your fate is already sealed, so your pleas are worthless. We will cleanse this world and then restore it. The same will happen to yours, so everything can begin anew. This is necessary."

A great silence and desolation invaded their minds and hearts. They truly didn’t know how to react. But for Uriel, who was always the most impulsive, there was only one thing left to do—because she had already understood...

Letting out a fierce cry, her power surged to the maximum:

—"GET OUT OF THE WAY! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

This took her friends by surprise.

  —"What are you doing, Uriel?!"

The young woman, enraged, launched herself furiously at the Titans, using one of her strongest attacks:

  —"LIGHTNING HURRICANE!"

Rauel joined the assault, gripping his legendary weapon, which was glowing at full power:

—"I guess it’s already decided… Mighty legendary hammer, lend me your strength! IMPERIAL FIRE DESTRUCTION!"

—"TAKE COVER!" —Sariel warned the others upon seeing how violently both attacks would strike the Titans.

But they were shocked to see that the Titans were completely unharmed, and their powers had vanished into thin air.

—"It can’t be!" —Rauel was shaken—. "I’m sure I used all my strength..."

Uriel was also confused by what she had seen. Neither of the two attacks had any effect.

  —"This is impossible…"

One of the Judges looked at them and pointed his hand toward Uriel—who was unable to move—and said:

  —"Disappear."

He unleashed what seemed like a mere breeze toward her. Rauel, seeing her frozen in place, leapt to shield her with his massive hammer.

  —"MOVE, URIEL!"

Throwing himself into the path of the attack, he took the full impact. What seemed like a simple breeze caused a massive explosion and a powerful shockwave that hurled everyone as if the world itself were tearing apart. The seraph’s legendary weapon was destroyed, and Rauel vanished before his companions’ eyes, as if he had been disintegrated.

Yet even the shockwave of the attack struck Uriel, sending her crashing down, gravely wounded and seemingly lifeless…

Seeing this, Remeiel could no longer contain her despair and sorrow over the loss of Rauel, her brother.

—"BROTHEEEEER!" —her heart shattered in pain and tears, just like the rest, who were overcome with grief and rage.

Rafael, with tears in his eyes, shouted:

—"YOU BASTARDS! Now you’ll see! ETERNAL STELLAR PRISON!"

As the young warrior’s attack enveloped the Titans, a voice came out of nowhere saying:

—"We are Judgment, and anyone who raises their hand against us will fall by their own blow."

Rafael’s technique compressed in the air and returned with greater power, striking him and making him disappear just like Rauel…

—"RAFAELLLLLL!" —his friends screamed in despair.

Everything seemed lost for the Archangels. However, Gabriel was still determined to fight to the end—but Miguel stopped him…

  —"Wait, Gabriel!"

—"Wait for what?! Didn’t you see what those bastards did to our friends!?"

As they argued, the Judges spoke:

—"Your judgment has arrived. You will all perish here."

But Miguel interrupted them, holding up the golden relic:

—"Before you continue threatening us, we have this!"

The Judges stirred and began speaking in different tongues among themselves. Then they said:

—"How is it possible that such an inferior creature obtained the 'Seal of Creation'? A powerful magic we placed ourselves protected it..."

  Sariel, smiling, mockingly said:

—"Doesn’t seem like we’re so inferior anymore, does it? You miserable freaks..."

—"You dare threaten the Judges of the universe?... All you’ve done by removing it from its place is doom your world to destruction. Return it immediately," —warned the Titan radiating white light.

—"What did you just say!? That has to be a lie," —Miguel replied, unable to hide his fear and uncertainty—just like his companions.

  The Judges spoke again:

—"You have committed a great sin and are guilty of an extraordinary crime. You will answer for it with your lives."

—"You speak of crimes while you’ve destroyed all life here and plan to do the same with our world!? And you killed my friends… The only ones who should answer for their crimes are YOU!" —Gabriel shouted, in tears—. "I swear I won’t forgive you!"

Still, the Judges did not change their stance:

—"Your small minds will never understand our decisions. We are the tru—"

—"ENOUGH OF YOUR THREATS!" —Remeiel interrupted, defiantly—. "I’m sick of your speeches! Now it’s our turn to give you what you deserve. We’ll use the relic and end this once and for all."

  The golden Titan warned:

—"Do you understand that the power of that seal won’t kill us, right? However, anyone who uses it against us will be destroyed by its effect. And once that power is depleted, we will return—because we are eternal. Now the real question is: can you use it before we eliminate you?"

—"Is that why you’re so nervous?" —Remeiel replied.

Their expressions showed resignation, but they knew it was their only option. Miguel turned to look at Sariel and Remeiel, and they understood. He said to Gabriel:

—"My friend, it looks like we’ll have to leave the rest to you."

—"What the hell are you talking about!? I’m here to fight too, and I won’t let you leave me out of this..." —Gabriel replied.

—"Listen, friend. I can sense Uriel is still alive, but she won’t last much longer. We can’t leave her alone. You have to go help her, please. We have to stop these beings..." —said Sariel.

—"I can’t let you die! Don’t leave me alone, I beg you!" —Gabriel cried—. "There must be another way!"

While they spoke, one of the Titans launched a powerful attack at them, and Miguel used his shield of light to protect them while telling Gabriel:

—"Listen to me, Gabriel. You won’t be alone. We’ll always be with you—don’t forget that. Besides, you have Uriel… Save her."

The shield wouldn’t hold much longer, so Remeiel stared at Gabriel and ordered:

—"You must complete the mission for us. That’s an order! Now go."

Saying this, she raised her hand at him and cast a powerful spell:

  —"SPACE DISTORTION!"

—"What are you doing, Remeieeeeeeel!" —Gabriel cried out as his body vanished into the air.

The young woman’s powerful spell rendered Gabriel unconscious and transported him to a distant and unknown point on the planet. This gave the three of them the freedom to use the seal against the Titans. The Judges surrounded them, striking Miguel’s shield with their infinite energy until it shattered.

—"The shield won’t last another minute! We must use all our power and speak the words engraved on the seal! Quickly, place your hands on it!"

As they placed their hands on the golden relic, the Judges accelerated their assault. The warriors powered up to their limits, and the seal began to emit a radiant, powerful light that burst beyond the shattered shield, enveloping the Earth.

Then one of the Titans said:

—"It seems we shall rest for a time..."

As they slowly turned to stone...

When the seal reached its limit, the warriors knew it was time:

  —"NOW!"

—"APOCALYPSIS HONTO!" —(which meant "Revelation of the truth").

And opening the seal, a great power shot into the stratosphere, turning into a warm rain that spread across the planet… and beyond.

The Titans fell into a deep slumber and crashed into a sea to the north. And the bodies of Remeiel, Miguel, and Sariel were no longer there… perhaps they had become one with the beautiful rain of life.

The relic was absorbed by the Sternentor, which quickly closed, returning to its place of origin.

The sun began to shine, and the Earth began to turn. Creation resumed, and nature blossomed stronger than ever.

A powerful tremor shook the land: the dry regions split into north, south, east, and west. Cold separated from heat, and the surface-dwelling creatures began to reproduce rapidly. This endless process confused the demons and cherubim, who had survived the terrible battle.

Gabriel woke up on a distant mountain in the south. He was weak, disoriented… but all he could think about was finding Uriel, who had vanished after her battle. Yet he could still sense her presence.

And so, he set off to find her…
