Green mage: What happened here?
Adventurer: This thing made a mess!
Thea: Again, sorry.
Green mage: Oh! well, allow me to help you then.
The mage bends down and waves their hand over the spill of water, evaporating it before it could seep into the planks of the wooden floor.
Thea: Chantless magic?
Green mage: It's only 0 Tier magic, nothing special much.
Thea: Ah.
They both stand up, wiping the dust of them.
Adventurer: Better watch where you're going next time.
Thea: ..Yes mister.
The adventurer sits back down.
Thea: I'll.. just go ahead and get us another set of water.
"..Right."
The green mage swiftly heads over to our persons table.
Green mage: Hey, regarding what happened yesterday, we caught the guy, wh-
"Guy?"
Green mage: The uh, person that nearly blasted your whole leg off.
"I see."
*Very reassuring..*
Green mage: Fortunately, we caught him.. And was fined 1 Gold. To be paid to the person of inconvenience, which is you, so.. Here.
The Green mage, grabs the coin out of his pocket, and lays it on the table.
"That.. How much is this worth? Exactly?"
Green mage: Enough to get you a full set of equipment, that's for sure.
As Thea arrives back with up to date-food and water, she sits down, placing them on the slightly crooked wooden table.
Green mage: That'll be all i suppose. I'll get going now.
"Alright, Thanks by the way."
Green mage: No worries.
The green mage, prepares to leave and steps out of the inn.
Thea: So what was that about?
"They caught the guy that caused my injury, which hey that's neat and all."
"But they gave me 1 Gold coin in compensation."
Thea: Hey.. those are worth alot!
"Heh, I can tell."
As Thea was about to take a bite out of her bread she asks:
Thea: What were you going to talk about, anyway?
She takes a bite out of her juicy juicy bread.
"So you might not believe this.. But I'm not from here."
Thea: Interesting, what region are you from then?
"No, I'm not from this world"
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Thea: Well, that's not something you hear everyday. Either you're trying to make a fool out of me, OR, you're suffering some sort of memory? loss from your leg injury somehow?"
"Its neither of that, I'm Telling the TRUTH!"
"You have to believe me here!"
Thea: Or it could've just been a dream from last night, that's possible too...
"It wasn't any dream."
"I came from this planet called Earth, where I used to live..."
He says with a slight frown..
Thea: Planet..? Well, what's this "Earth" like, then?
He tries to elaborate, but the only thing that comes out of his mouth are stutters, almost failing to describe anything at all..
"I.. Don't..."
"Remember.."
Thea: You're just wasting my time at this point. Ill be leaving.. I have better places to be.
She stands up from her seat. Slowly walking to the exit of the inn.
"N-no don't go.. I.. Don't know anyone else here.."
He stands up. Trying to catch up to her.
She snorts in irritation.
They both make it to the outside of the inn, to be greeted by the morning sunlight, and the fresh blue sky.
As she was about to prepare to take flight. Our person gets down on his knees pleading.
"I'm begging you.. Please stay."
Thea: *Is he really that desperate? There's no shame in trying..*
Thea: *Okay you know what? I'll give it a chance, just this one time*
She stops her near-flight, and slowly walks back to our person.
Thea: Stand up.
"..Huh?"
He stands up.
Thea puts her hand on our persons chest, and begins a chant.
Tier 0, Examine
...
Thea: What..?
"What is it?"
Thea: T-that's not possible.!
She mutters, with a slight shock on her face.
Thea: Not even.. A single trace of Chromo?
Not a single trace of Chromo indeed.
Thea: This sure is troublesome..
