We were making our way towards the hotel for some plan Hero made when I saw something dart down an alleyway. “Ill be right back!” I said as I dashed towards the alleyway. Maybe it was the thing that pretended to be Hero. A truly blasphemous thing.

  But when I got there, the alley was a dead end.. And it was empty. I turned back to see I was alone in the main area. “Must not have heard me.” I said to myself as I walked towards the inn.

  “Where are you going Alia, we are over here!” I paused and turned to see Hero walking into the casino. I frowned, Hero had never been that fast. Must be a new ability he got that he didn’t tell me about!

  I rushed over to the casino and he was sitting at that game thing he liked. He was pushing buttons, but Sapphire wasn’t here? She must have gone to get more fries. She seemed to really like them.

  I walked over to Hero but he didn’t even glance at me. I frowned. “I am here!” I said playfully. He looked over at me annoyed. “Can’t you see I am busy, go bother someone else!”

  I froze at that. Something.. Something was off. Hero was always a little cold but. “Did.. I do something wrong?” I asked curiously.

  He turned to me, a cruel look on his face as he spoke. “What did you do right Alia? You are such a failure!” I stumbled back in shock at the venom of his words.

  “I.. I am not!” I cried out at him. I pointed at him. “Take that back!” He looked at me with no care or love in his eyes as he shook his head and gave me a disappointed apathetic look.

  “It was an accident! I thought you were in danger!” I cried as I fell to my knees. “I am sorry please!”

  “Prove it then, prove that you are truly sorry and kill yourself.” Hero said coldly to me. I froze as his words caught me off guard… Why would I kill myself? I would just… Something in my mind clicked into place and my eyes widened.

  “Your… you're not real!” I said as I slowly got to my feet and summoned my bubble rifle.

  He simply laughed harshly at that. “Then shoot me little brat. Point your little toy gun and fire.” I clenched my teeth and aimed my rifle. But paused as I remembered what happened the last time I fired it.

  “What’s wrong? Cant even use your own weapon? Can’t say I am surprised, being the failure you are!” I tensed but held back.

  “Youre wrong! I just.. Don’t wanna die right now.” I said weakly as my finger slipped from the trigger.

  “Figures, the one time you aren’t gun happy is when it comes to something I want.” He snapped as he sat back down and started playing the machine.

  I sank to my knees as tears welled in my eyes. He.. he wasn’t real… this was not the Hero I knew.. Was it? I paused as I considered that. He had punched me for shooting the dome earlier. He showed true anger for it… But he comforted me.. He told me it would be okay and that he owned me.

  The more I thought about it, the less and less this seemed real. Was it a nightmare? A dream? I looked back up to what I was positive now was the fake Hero.

  I opened my mouth to speak, but was cut off. “I’m back! Got some fries! They taste so good!” I blinked and looked back to see Sapphire coming in.

  “Oh good your back, I was just letting Alia know that she is a failure and you're my first wife now.” Hero said. The edges of my vision went red and I aimed my rifle at Sapphire.

  “Can’t say I blame you! She truly messed it up for everyone my Hero!” Sapphire said sweetly to Hero. I blinked and lowered my weapon as I looked closer at Sapphire. She.. was dry.

  Hero reached her and kissed her on the lips. “Much better than Alia’s kisses.” Hero said as he brought his hand down to her lower area.

  “FUUUUCK” I screamed as I threw my bubble rifle on the ground and glared at them. “YOU WILL NOT FUCKING BREAK ME. YOU AREN'T REAL!!!” Turning, I ran out of the casino, Their laughter echoing behind me.

  I rushed to the only place I remember the Hero actually going to.. The hotel. I tried to open the doors.. But they were locked. I looked through the window and sank to my knees in horror.

  Hero was on his back with Sapphire on top of them.. Sapphire was… I began to shake as rage filled me. “Let it out, show him no mercy. Look how he cheats on you with her. There is no love there, only greed.”

  I blinked at that.. That was not one of my thoughts. I know it wasn’t because I would have happily watched Sapphire and Hero sleeping together. But.. then why was I angry?

  Did.. did being first wife really matter that much to me? Suddenly Sapphire stood and screamed loudly. After a long moment she shakily seemed to sit back down on Hero water slowly began to leak from her and then.. She suddenly flooded the floor and fell to the side. As she did I saw her face.

  There was blood coming from her eyes and she looked horrified. After a moment, she smiled, giggled and closed her eyes. I frowned at that in utter confusion for a moment before Hero, who was now completely naked, slowly stood and looked around the lobby. He yelled something.

  “Wow, that was some great sex!” Is what I heard.. But it didn’t match his lips at all. He looked at the door and walked to it. He tried to open it but it wouldn’t budge. I tried to pull on the other side but it was locked tight.

  I brought my fist to the glass.. Or I started to before stopping myself. “FUCK, I hate this place!” I screamed.

  “Like I said.. A failure.” Hero’s voice came from behind me as the hotel glass doors became solid to where I couldn’t see through them anymore. I slowly stood and turned to face the fake Hero and Alissa. They were both naked and Hero was playing with Sapphire's body from behind.

  He kissed her on the neck before looking at me. “Look how she acts in public! I could never accept her!” I felt my anger rise, then slowly go back down as I realized..

  “I.. I don’t actually care.” I said before blinking as what I just said shocked me. But it was true, I didn’t care. I was hurt, yes, but that was only if this was the real Hero. This thing was just a copy. If anything, it was blasphemy.

  I smiled at the blasphemous fake “A failure am I? Coming from a failed copy of a deity? Sounds about right.”

  The fake Hero laughed and bent over the fake Sapphire and began plowing her. I smirked back. “Wow, you can’t even get his moves right. Do you need a lesson? The real Hero could teach you how to actually please a woman. Not that the.. The thing you are playing with is a real woman.”

  The false Sapphire smirked at me. “All I hear is how I was chosen and you weren’t.” I smiled at that and nodded.

  “I am proud of you Sapphire! You finally got chosen by something.” A shame it was a fake you. The real Sapphire has a real Hero to get plowed by.” I snarked back.

  Fake Hero opened his mouth to speak but I held up a hand. “I have had enough of your mind games, you can go away now.” I waved my hand dismissively and turned back to the door.

  After a moment I looked back and there was no one there. I smiled and gently placed my hand on the door knob. “It’s unlocked now.” I said casually as I turned the knob and walked into the hotel lobby.

  If anything, I had to thank fake Hero. He indirectly helped me realise what was happening. The thought caused me to smile as I walked in… and ducked before Hero’s fist hit me in the face.
