  Hello world

It was over quicker then I thought possible, one moment I was staring down the barrel of a handgun, the next I wake up in a graveyard. It’s odd really, it feels like it should have been more intense then that, but I guess that is just how the story comes to a close sometimes. But the oddest thing is, that I should be dead, at least I feel like I should be, but I can’t be! I quickly try to suppress the panic that my last moments left as I look about my surroundings, if I was dead then It would help to understand where they laid my body to rest and where I am haunting.

I move between the headstones with a purpose, but this place seems a bit of a dump all things considered. None of the markers have legible names, many that where made of wood have rotten through and are all but gone. The stone markers hardly fared any better as cracks and weathering have left them susceptible to the plants that now take root in them. Between all of them, hardly a name could be parsed, and it started to feel odd. Sure I didn’t have much but back home I still had family who could have seen me in at least a half decent graveyard.

As I glanced about I couldn’t help but realize that, well, I couldn’t really feel much aside from well. I looked down and there was nothing, I looked behind me and there was nothing, I wasn’t a ghost or zombie, those still had something, I was just viewpoint. It took a lot of effort to not panic as I tried to figure out what in the world was happening. Then a sight caught my eye, a glinting object sat where I had started moving my view from. Having nothing else to go on I moved that way again, crouching down to see the glinting object. A gem of brilliantly clear crystal sat stuck in the ground.
