xvii) Where is My Martia! where is the person we both love..

After reaching almost the end of the forest, Acastius stopped the carriage as they had to now take another carriage, which was waiting there. Minver brought Prince out of the carriage and removed the black cloth.

He said to the Prince, “There, you have your freedom. Get on that

carriage and show your face or prove along the way that you are the Prince so that you are escorted to your castle. Go live the rest of your life from being trapped in one humble room to being trapped in your lavish castle. Just go.”

The Prince asked, “Where is Martia?”

Minver paused for a moment, looked down, and said, “Martia! She is not alive anymore.”

The Prince was horrified on hearing this but then he closed his eyes, calmed himself down, and repeated, “Where is Martia, Minver?”

Minver replied, “Everyone in Promapple knows that she is dead. She asked me to save you before dying, so I am merely fulfilling my last promise to her. Just leave. How many times do I have to tell you? Just go.”

“You know that I am not going anywhere without her,” said the Prince resolutely. “So, please, tell me where she is.”

Minver, slightly annoyed, replied, “You don’t trust me which i can understand. Should I take you back to Promapple and let Promanthae give you the news himself? Will you then believe it?”

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

  “I don’t believe you because I know.”

Confused, Minver asked, “What do you know?”

“That you always liked her. Now I know that you are in love with her.

The peace, the calmness, the way you are taking her name right now, I know you are finally in love. So just tell me where she is. Because, when we love someone, we can never be so calm when we talk about their death. Minver, where is the person we both love, because one thing I know for sure is that she is alive. But I don’t know if she is okay or not. If she was okay, she would never leave me. Because she knows, either in pain, misery, freedom, or luxury, if we are not together, then there is no life. There is just nothing. So, please, if you could just tell me . . . where is My Martia?”

Minver, impressed with the Prince, replied with a smile, “My best

friend and your lover is in the carriage I am sending you to. Of course, she will never leave you. I now understand why. Just go to your castle and get the best doctors and medicine and heal her as she is badly injured. Go and live your life; be happy and keep her happy. Let’s hope we don’t meet during any tragedy or fight. Let’s meet only to celebrate, Prince. Celebrate your love and my Promapple’s freedom from decades of old hatred.”

He bade him farewell and said slowly to himself, “Let’s meet again, Martia. I will hopelessly miss you, but this time, only with love.”

He and Acastius then disappeared into the forest.
