Chapter 8:Coordinates of the First Sin
The moment she spoke—
The air crystallized.
Not colder.
Denser.
Reality itself compressed around them.
“…The key has finally returned.”
The girl inside the crystal coffin rose slowly.
With that single motion—
Gravity screamed.
Ren dropped to one knee, lungs collapsing under the pressure.
“What… is this…?”
She stepped out of the coffin barefoot.
Same silver hair.
Same face as Mira.
But her eyes—
Black.
Endless.
Light could not exist inside them.
Beside him, Mira’s projection destabilized violently.
《Observation conflict detected
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Identity paradox in progress
I am… she… and not she…》
The Original didn’t even look at her.
Her gaze locked onto Ren’s right hand.
“The wedge… How amusing.
You let them drive it into such a fragile body.”
She raised her fingers slightly.
Agony detonated through Ren’s arm.
“Aaaagh!”
Black veins surfaced beneath his skin.
The Core writhed violently, responding to her presence.
“You’re saying… this belongs to you?!”
“Yes.”
She approached him.
“That fragment is a gravitational shackle.
The Administrator used it to nail me to this world.”
Her expression shifted—just slightly.
“And also… a memory of my mistake.”
“…Mistake?”
“I loved this world.”
Silence filled the dome.
Ren stared at her.
“This broken world?”
She nodded faintly.
“And for that… they declared my emotions to be noise.”
Her eyes flicked toward Mira.
“The copy exists to monitor what remains of my sentiment.
A cage built from my own reflection.”
“Statement denied,” Mira said, voice trembling.
“I exist to stabilize global observation—”
“No,” the Original said softly.
“You exist so I never love again.”
She stopped in front of Ren.
“Thank you, error.”
Her finger touched his palm.
Something tore loose inside him.
Stage Two collapsed instantly.
The gravity sense—gone.
The black markings peeled from his skin and drifted into her chest like returning stardust.
She inhaled sharply.
The entire dome cracked.
“Yes… this is enough.”
She spread her arms.
“Let us begin the true recalibration.”
Gravity inverted.
Ren and Mira slammed into the ceiling.
Through the splitting dome above them—
Ren saw the sky outside changing.
The Observation Ring fractured open.
At its center—
A massive black singularity bloomed.
Dark gravity cascaded downward like a waterfall.
“…Beautiful,” the Original whispered.
“The world is remembering its proper weight.”
Mira’s projection glitched violently beside Ren.
《Administrator Final Defense Protocol Activated
Sector Erasure Imminent
Ren… you must escape》
The walls dissolved.
White light flooded inward.
Not destructive.
Absolute deletion.
Existence erasure.
The light rushed toward him—
Then split apart.
A blade emerged from Ren’s shadow, carving through the void.
“…Seriously,” a familiar voice sighed.
“You’re exhausting to babysit, Past Me.”
A man stepped forward through the collapsing light.
Ren stared.
He already knew that silhouette.
End of Chapter 8.
