  First-time poster. My mom is a drama queen already (goddess of love thing, I guess), but she’s gotten worse ever since I got married.

  I’ll start from the beginning. My wife was a mortal who my mom was jealous of, so she sent me to curse her to fall in love with a monster. I’m an idiot, so I nicked myself instead, then tricked my FIL into giving my wife to me (not as creepy as it sounds). Shit happened and she was assigned a quest to prove herself worthy, courtesy of (who else?) my mom.

  So my mom, being a bitch, gave her two tasks, all of which she completed without a hitch. She got mad and sent her on a third one to get makeup from my aunt(?), who is the queen of the Underworld, but guess what? It wasn’t makeup, it was a coma.

  My mom refused to tell me any of this, so when I found out, we had a massive fight. I might have destroyed one of her favorite temples, but she was being a bitch, so it’s fair. I had to give my wife immortality to keep my mom off my back, but she still hasn’t given it up. She keeps sending us poisoned chocolates and flowers my wife is allergic to, and when our kid was born, she tried to kidnap her (she was fine, btw). Last I heard, she’s trying to convince my dad to turn my wife into a donkey (he’s not gonna do it; they hate each other and he thinks making her angry is funny).
