Chapter 77 { Soldiers' Graveyard }
" Thank you " Luna bowed with the soldiers.
Ian nodded calmly and absorbed the remaining jewels, he had not broken through to the sixth level yet as it required a higher amount of energy but his strength had increased and most importantly the mastery of Rise of the Failed One had risen to the intermediate stage which meant that its speed in handling energy had increased greatly.
" To the available soldiers, protect the Soldiers' Graveyard " General Kyos' voice echoed throughout the entire city.
" Damn it, those bastards " Luna gritted her teeth.
" Where is the graveyard? " Ian asked.
" Follow me " she said and moved, not forgetting to give the order to her forces " Return to the family and inform them that I am heading to the graveyard in the north with Sir Ian ".
The noble Luna moved at great speed, Ian following her steps with a calm expression.
Beginner!! , why is he still hiding his strength? Luna thought " Sir why are you hiding your strength? " Luna asked.
Ian understood that they were misunderstanding him and did not wish to explain as this might bring him trouble or give them hints that he was from below.
" Sorry if I intruded on your secrets " she said after receiving no response from Ian.
" It's fine, I'm just curious, what is the Beast Birth Flower? ".
Luna fell silent.
Ian smiled and did not ask further.
The silence continued until a group of Demons interrupted it, before Luna could move Ian had already torn them apart.
" You are a Light trainee! " she asked.
Ian nodded " And you? ".
" Unfortunately not, otherwise this would not be my situation " she said with a bit of sarcasm and shame at herself before adding " But I have never heard before of these skills of the Path of Light ".
Ian did not explain, his information was shallow and any mistake would alert them to his identity.
" Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ".
The screams spread before them, Ian stopped the conversation and turned into a butcher of devils, they were slaughtered at his hands right and left, while Luna followed him in fear, fear struck her heart at Ian's brutality, Ian himself did not feel this since he believed that the mysterious Royal Aura protected him but his nature had become very savage or perhaps he knew of it and ignored it.
The Demons were shattered under the Fist of Fire and Light which was a mark of a pivotal figure in history, the Legendary Demon Slayer and one of the greatest individuals of all time and yet Luna did not notice that the Fist of Fire and Light belonged to him or perhaps she did not think that anyone was capable of using the skills of that legend!.
.
Soon the duo arrived at the graveyard, there Madas was standing with difficulty, blood flowing from his body and around him a squad of 1000 distinguished individuals clad in armor of light and death elements that Ian had brought ( Light Squad ) but this squad was currently shattered under the pressure of more than 10000 Demons standing before them, among them many fighters and even one of the Demon nobles.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
" Surrender you fools your end has come " one of the fighters spoke while the noble sat upon his throne in the back, he was very fat and his throne was several times larger than the previous noble but his aura was almost the same ( Demon Noble / level four ).
" Dream of touching this pure land " Madas shouted and revealed his cultivation at Fighter level / 3 and raised his spear upward " Taste my strike, Madas' Spear ".
This was his special mark and his unique imprint which proved his existence as an outstanding genius who would not be repeated often, light merged with the spear and formed a rising current that swept toward the Demons who were stronger and greater.
" Doom Shield " three of the Demon fighters activated their arts but the power of the spear was overwhelming, shattering the defenses and moving toward the Demontrainees.
Boooooooooom.
The current of the spear swept away dozens of Demons and wounded them and even killed two of them and this was only because of the Doom Shield which blocked most of the spear's power.
" Something else " one of the Demon fighters mocked and rushed toward them and five other fighters followed him.
" Fall back " Ian ordered Luna and took a deep breath, inside his body energy moved like a rising flood, the 112 pillars began to operate and soon energy surged out of Ian's body like a tide.
Luna sensed it and retreated a great distance and froze, - What level of power is this! , it is on the verge of touching the threshold of a noble but why do I still see that he is at Beginner level?! , is he truly hiding his strength or is he ,,,,,, a genius!!!!!!? But a genius at this age? This is impossible!, something is wrong here.
Inside the Dantian the energy was no longer red but had turned inclined toward orange where it glowed with the luster of rare metals, it was no longer very fluid but had begun to contain some solidity as if it were molten metal and not water, the energy itself had taken another form and we must not forget that its color changed which meant that it was several times stronger, this in addition to the Dantian which had grown in size and become more solid, all of this made Ian who had reached level two step 6 become an unrestrained monster on the battlefield.
Ian's aura drew everyone, even the Demon Noble raised his eyebrows in surprise toward the new arrival.
" Him? " Madas was startled.
"Comet of Light" Ian said.
The sky above the graveyard darkened and hundreds of clouds appeared and soon flashes of pure gold began to shine through them.
Majesty.
Awe.
Grandeur.
Power.
Endless radiance.
Ian clapped his hands forcefully and the sound of his clap was heard throughout the entire graveyard.
" Die " the light descended as if immortal rays seeped through the cracks of the sky to gaze upon the inhabitants of the earth from higher eyes, although its name was Comet it was not a mass of rock and fire but rather a torrent of gold / light falling from above upon these vile creatures who brought destruction and ruin to the world to declare their end.
The light shone upon hundreds of Demons and turned them into stone in an instant like giants when the sun rises then the stones cracked and the Demons fell to the ground motionless.
They had died!!.
What remained in their place was their essence and a pile of stones that soon scattered and turned to ash carried silently within the folds of the wind.
Shock.
Tremendous shock.
- Comet of Light.
- Legendary.
- Description:- Mass killing skill:- Exploit the light to let its radiance descend upon the world { slow (one hour ) }
Demon kill counter.
763
" Kill him " the Demon Noble ordered.
8 of the Demon fighters moved toward Ian.
Ian lifted his robe to reveal a completely black armor covering his body, these were rare elements that had fallen from the World of Death but this was not what was truly distinctive, what was distinctive was what was on Ian's hands, his work which took him several full days to craft and the most precious elements that had fallen from the monsters ( mithril , raw steel , cold metal and a large number of red iron and tough monster parts such as the level three ape ) all of this was crowned in the gauntlet on his hands.
- Hell Gauntlet.
- Epic.
- Description: Crafted by Lord Ian with a different mixture of elements and minor craftsmanship { Note it is somewhat fragile }.
This was the utmost Ian could do, to tell the truth! Ian had expected the final product's grade to be Rare or at best Ancient but it was Epic in a surprising way even though it was somewhat fragile but this was far better than his expectations especially since gauntlets had never dropped from monsters, Ian speculated that they dropped from a certain type of monsters but he did not know it and therefore decided to craft one himself.
And this was the result ( Epic gauntlet ), the Hell Gauntlet gleamed in red and black with a thin thread of white and some slightly mysterious red protrusions as a sign of blood.
" Come " Ian struck his fists together forcefully and sparks appeared in the air, this battle turned Ian into something entirely different even he himself did not realize it.
