Ugh, I really, really hate to do this, especially so shortly after I just had a break, and having updated the tags to include the more recent developments in the story. I really don't want to leave people hanging like that. However, the reality is that I pretty much burned myself out on my work training the past month, so I haven't been able to write at all. So, I'm forced to take a break from uploading any new chapters, so I can restore my backlog and my peace of mind. This is, after all, supposed to be something fun for me.

  There's also the fact that the next chapter contains some cultural elements and considerations that I'm not too confident in, and want to take more time to consider properly before I put it online. I care deeply about this story and about representing everything in a respectful way, which is why I make these kinds of considerations.

  I want to make one thing perfectly clear, though, I'm NOT putting the story on hiatus, or abandoning it. It would be a shame to do so, when I have everything until the end already fully planned out.

  Oh, right, I been working on an alternate, more for myself, cover art for The Lich Teacher. It's still a work-in-progress, so be kind. Anyway, since I don't know how to add images in here, that don't have an url, I'll share it on the Discord server.
