  In a faraway galaxy, there is an isolated planet that is known as Charles VI. It is a very peaceful ocean planet, made up of islands scattered across the surface of the sea, but among these islands, three of them are the most important.

  C-Disc, C-Storage, and C-Motherboard are three regions populated by two species, the Lapi, the rabbit-eared humanoid, and the Kikoho, a humanoid made out of digital data. The two distinct species have coexisted in peace for a very long time because of the power of love and cooperation!

  They could somehow conceive a hybrid child. Don’t ask how an organic lifeform and a digital lifeform can have children… it is still a confusing discussion.

  So anyway, they are pretty much buddies with each other, basically—huh? I forgot to mention the Central Tower? Do I have to- Ok, ok, ok, I’ll talk about that, jeez!

  Okay, so… Where was I? Oh right, there is a tall tower located in between three of the regions, which is called the Central Tower, basically a giant observatory that does all kinds of research like space and society research, mostly space… but it serves as surveillance to watch the people for whatever reason, probably for some boring ass studying. Oh that is also where I live as well!

  Oh crap- I forgot something else…oh! Lapi and Kikoho have this thing called Charm, which is essentially a super power that anyone can have after being born, but not everyone is born with one.

  That is pretty much the entire, if not brief, explanation about Charles VI.

  That would be just about it for this really peaceful planet, right? But, unfortunately…that peace would be freaking ruined by a fateful day that would change everything for the worst…….

  After the New Year ended, a civilian would suddenly mutate into a violent monster in the marketplace that caused chaos and destruction wherever it went. We called them the Altered, a violent monster mutated from a poor soul by some mysterious phenomenon or a virus of sorts.

  We don’t know the cause of this goddamn mess, all we know is that people can turn into these things at random, which makes everyone scared out of their minds, to the point where they straight up lock themselves inside their homes.

  Unfortunately, the situation gets worse as more Altered appear each day, with no way to stop them. Until now, my creator—a renowned inventor who works in the Central Tower—decided that no one should be consumed by despair and fear, and so...

  My creator, Stein Knowledge, founded the Anti-Altered Department, an agency department within the Central Tower, to combat the Altered.

  So far, he has been able to return the victim who mutated into an Altered to normal using the numerous weapons and equipment he created.

  However, it is far from over… Even though dealing with the Altered is somewhat manageable now, the effect they had on the people is greatly severe, and it will be a damn long time for everything to recover back to normal like before.

  After two months passed, the Altered appeared to be getting even more ridiculously powerful than they were before, to the point where the weapons that were previously used to combat them are now completely useless!

  Come on, that's just freaking cheating!

  Ahem…anyway.

  But worry not, as a trio of siblings would join in the A.A.D to help people in need… as they cast light through the darkness.
