EXT. STOLEN CAR, MAIN STREET
Robert is pulled over by the police. An Officer steps out of his cruiser, and approaches the driver side window.
Officer: Can I get your name, sir?
Robert: Robert.
Officer: Last name?
Robert: Don't have one, I'm afraid.
Officer: I find that very unlikely.
Robert: It's true. I'm just Robert.
The Officer stares for a second.
Robert: What was I doing?
Officer: Report of a stolen car, this one matches the description. Can I see some proof that you own this vehicle?
Robert: Don't have it. I bought it from a friend.
Officer: You don't have a last name, you don't have proof of ownership, I don't think I have much choice here.
The Officer stands up straight.
Officer: I'd like you to step outside, sir.

Robert: No. I won't do that.
Officer: Please, I don't want this to drag on.
Robert: I do. I love dragons.
Officer: As do I, but unfortunately, that doesn't change anything.
The Officer beckons him to exit. Instead, Robert looks forward, and the vehicle begins to float, steadily upward. The Officer readies his pistol, and fires at the car, as it begins to rise above the buildings, taking shelter from the bullets. They all land in the vehicle, but they only break his sunglasses that rested on his shirt collar. Robert jumps, quite startled.
Robert: Gosh, I did not want to do this.
Robert speeds forward, across the buildings and through the air.
He is joined by another flying car. Dylan "drives", while Blade sits beside him, and Del bleeds steadily in the back seat, looking very unaware.
'
Dylan: You too, huh?
Robert: Dylan? Blade? What- who is that?!
Dylan: Del. He wanted to come along.
Del hacks up blood, confirming.
Del: I changed my mind. I'll help you...
Robert looks at his hand, disgusted, eyebrows raised and mouth pursed, and shakes the blood off that was sprayed at him across the air from Del in the other car.
EXT. THE OTHER REALM.
A large, stone, circular room. Food and wine everywhere. Every material comfort you could expect is found here.
Jess (6lp), a high-ranking Realmkeeper, strides up to a round table in the center of the room. She begins scrawling notes, reading aloud.
Jess: Robert, you poor soul. I really wish you had kept away from that Dylan. Just as I was about to promote you, you go and do a thing like this. I should hope you know you won't be coming back, not without proving your worth to me, all over again. I expect a great deed, or you don't have a chance.
She folds up the note, and exits the room, holding it aloft.
A while afterward, a man comes through. Actually, a teenager. He wears an elegant suit with a red tie. He goes by Lucky. Lucky magically summons Jess back to this room.
Lucky: What were you about to send?
Jess: A -a note. To Robert. I'm just letting him know his situation.
Lucky rips the note out of her hands. He turns around and scans it.
Lucky: We can't send this....
Jess: Why... why not?
Lucky: I don't want him to think he's got a chance. I personally don't want to see him here. He and Dylan, both of them have been acting so strange. I don't know what it is, I don't want to know. I don't even want them running around on Earth.
Jess: Do you-- would you like me to... eliminate them?
Lucky: I would love that.
Lucky moves eerily quickly, lunging toward Jess, drawing a long blade, and stabbing her in the stomach. Jess falls backward against the wall, clutching her wound. She slumps forward. Her soul passes out of her body, and into the ground.
Lucky: Best of luck. Heh heh.
