Kaiden couldn't believe his eyes, his mind filled with shock, sweat running down his face, his eyes wide and pupils thin. he still couldn't believe what was stood before his eyes.
"F-finally time for what?" Kaiden barely got the words out of his mouth.
the man jumped down off the creature and landed before Kaiden, straightening his shirt before speaking up. "Time to discover the truth about our world, after all, that is what you were born to do." the man begins to take something out of his pocket while introducing himself. "my name is Devon Soto, and I'm from a group known as the Wistoria." His hand reaches out of his coat pocket, holding the object he was searching for, a letter, addressed to "Kaiden Huritan."
Kaiden looks up at the letter with curious eyes, easing up a tiny bit but still full of caution towards the man, he gently stood up, palms slipping slightly against the wet floor. Kaiden took the letter from the Devon's hand, ripping open the creased seal line across the back and taking the crumpled letter out, it looks ancient, the paper yellow with time and creases spread across it, the material felt dry and old, ignoring the fact he began reading it as follows :
"Dear Kaiden, you don't know who i am and that will stay this way for years to come as i also did. My name isnt important and neither is any other detail about myself, but by the time you receive this letter, you will have communed with Ronald about your dreams, that means its time to begin, the man who gave you this letter, you must go with him back to the rest of the Wistoria, your journey will start there, the gate, the gate is that portal that stand before you that the man from your dream told you about, if you enter, your life will never be the same, for good and for bad, this is how you discover your true self, Kaiden Huritan."
For a moment, Kaiden stared blankly at the letter, his head racing with confusion, fear and hesitation, the gate, the same one he had only told Ronald about, how could the man who wrote this letter possibly know about it, he folded the letter, hands shaking with unease, tucked it into his shirt pocket and looked back up at Devin, eyes wide and jaw slightly let open.

"H-how long have you been waiting with this letter for me?" Kaiden waiting nervously as the only man who could have possibly written this letter would be Ronald himself.
Devon spoke with confidence in his voice. "the Wistoria has had this letter in their possession for 184 years on the dot today." he jumped back on to his creature and began to turn back to the portal.
Kaiden froze in a mixture of shock and fear, it wasn't possible, 184 years... he himself only found out about the gate around 10 hours ago, and somehow, someone else knew 184 years ago, he knew deep in his soul that if he was to ever discover who that man in hell is, and why he calls specifically to Kaiden, he had to go through the portal. With no hesitation in his voice, just pure determination Kaiden spoke up. "Lets go, Devon."
Kaiden stepped forward, jumping on top of Devon's creature as per Devon's reaching hand of invitation. they stepped through the portal , instantly jumping towards a new place, a green field, grass dancing in the wind and trees in the distance thriving in life. "I've got two question, first, why are we in some random ass field, and second... what the fuck are we sitting on right now!" Kaiden said.
Devon let out a light chuckle before explaining that the creature was his soul conjure, he explained its a low level summoning ability created using Renim, something that he himself could only explain as the essence of all life, a sort of energy all humans have but only few can access, the creatures name is Futomaki, he named it after a traditional Japanese sushi roll characterised by its large, thick cylinder shape, which matched the shape of Futomaki's body.
Kaiden was a bit confused but was mainly focused on where they are, before he had the chance to even re-ask his first question, Devon began shouting out someones name.
"RUKO! OPEN THE BARRIER! I HAVE KAIDEN!" Devon shouted.
Kaiden watched as suddenly a massive rip began forming in the air infront of them, revealing a small settlement guarded by this barrier, Futomaki began slowly walking inside as Devon welcomed Kaiden, to the Wistoria.
