Doomed to live - PART 1

In the modern age, a young boy stood before a court.

He said, “I know I’ve been doomed to live. You were right… I should’ve—”

But he couldn’t finish his words.

Suddenly, he found himself falling from the sky. A massive castle appeared beneath him—so huge that he couldn’t even see all of it. The ground was rushing closer. He knew he would die.

As he stared at the earth below, accepting his fate, he whispered:

“I’ve always wanted to die… so why does it feel different now?”

Before he hit the ground, he was teleported into another sky and fell again—faster this time. A woman caught him at the last moment and dropped him gently onto the ground.

He looked up and saw eight people standing there. A strange green-haired man approached him and said:

  “Welcome, Master of Blood.”

  The boy froze in shock.

“WHERE AM I?! WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!”

  The green-haired man sighed.

“Don’t worry. You won’t understand now… probably not ever. Anyway, we need your heart because—eh—I’m too lazy to explain. So just let me kill you, Morro.”

  Morro’s eyes widened.

How does he know my name? This can’t be real…

“No! I won’t let you! And how do you even know my name?!”

  The man shrugged.

“Too lazy to explain. But if you don’t want me to kill you, that’s fine.”

  “…Wait, really?”

“Yeah. One of the Element Masters will do it instead. Because I’m laaaazy. Hehehe.”

“That won’t happen,” Morro said, sprinting away.

While running, he felt warmth spreading through his body. Suddenly he gained incredible speed—more than humanly possible.

The green-haired man turned to one of the eight.

“Go after him. Fire Master, you’re strong. Don’t fail me again… Raikou.”

“I won’t fail you this time, Air Master,” Raikou replied.

  Morro had no idea…

this was the beginning of the end.
