Chapter Five

As he watched Yimia repeatedly order the binding and sale of the Elf tribe's girls, Yang Ling estimated that this guy was either a slave owner or a slaver, and being cut into pieces would be too good for him. After confirming there were no ambushes around, he decided to test his blade!

Capture the leader first, capture the king; strike the snake at seven inches. Either do not move, or move like a lion pouncing on a rabbit, with all one's might.

Yang Ling deployed the most ferocious two hundred Anglewings, dividing them into two teams. One team attacked the young man Emiya who was giving orders, while the other team attacked several magicians in mid-air. He didn't want to expose himself and end up like the Wooden Guardians, frozen into human-shaped ice pops by a few mysterious magicians.

Listening to the wailing and smelling the strong smell of blood, many cornered beasts had been eager to move. If it weren't for Yang Ling's consolation and restraint, they would have probably swarmed up by now.

After being tamed by Yang Ling, the Horned Beast not only greatly increased its combat power, but also became more bloodthirsty and warlike. Sometimes after catching prey, it would not only swallow their bones, but even lick up every last drop of fresh blood that had spilled to the ground. At the same time, just like Yang Ling, after absorbing the essence of magical beasts, they too gained enormous benefits. Their scales became increasingly sturdy, the black horns on their heads increasingly sharp, and their speed increasingly fast.

Under the sudden attack, the black-robed warriors were unable to withstand the ferocious assault of the horned beasts. Some people fled in panic, being killed one by one by the elf warriors; some swung their large knives in vain, watching helplessly as the dense horned beasts tore at their flesh, leaving only a skeleton in an instant.

Like a plague of locusts, the horned beast left in its wake the once-invincible black-clad warriors abandoning their armor and fleeing for their lives. Even the thick-skinned lions did not dare to stay behind. Those who were lucky enough to escape with their lives turned tail and ran, while those who were less fortunate were reduced to nothing but a pile of white bones, or in some cases, just a few strands of hair or a puddle of fresh blood.

Ordinary black-clad warriors were abandoned, and Emiya was even more miserable as he was attacked by the horned beast. Several elite bodyguards turned into a pool of blood in the blink of an eye. Looking at the horned beast with the remains of the guard's flesh still hanging from its fangs, listening to the guard's hair-raising screams before his death, he almost lost his soul.

"Ah, my butt!" In a state of panic, Imia covered her eyes with all her might, but a large chunk of flesh was torn off her buttocks. "Damn it, Kettu, Kiribasu, Fireball Technique!"

In a panic, Amyia threw a fireball at her own buttocks. While burning the detestable hornet beast into charcoal, she also tasted the flavor of her own scorched buttocks, sweating profusely and crying tears.

The magician named Kiribas reacted quickly, but unfortunately the horned beast suddenly dispersed and attacked the terrified black-clad warriors. After a large number of fireballs were sent out, the horned beast didn't burn to death many of them, but on the ground there were more than a dozen charred black-clad warriors, which made Emiya furious. If it weren't for his buttocks feeling scorching hot and uncomfortable, he would have rushed up to slap him several times.

"Damn it, get over here even if you're dead!"

As the number of Hornet Beasts increased, Emilia's face turned pale and she gave a loud order. As low-level magical beasts, Hornet Beasts were not particularly intimidating individually, but if they appeared in large numbers, it would be troublesome. Unless one was equipped with sturdy armor or had sufficient mages, ordinary people generally did not want to provoke these flying magical beasts that lived in groups.

Under the ominous situation, the black-robed warriors fled in all directions like headless flies, and many people were so frightened that they even rolled off the low-flying flying beasts. At the same time, although powerful, the unmanned Cloud Eagle and Lion Hawk also fled in all directions when faced with the densely packed hornet beasts. A lion hawk the size of a calf, in its panic, flew straight towards Yang Ling's hiding direction.

"Heh heh, great timing!" Yang Ling looked at the lion eagle rushing towards him with delight. With a lion eagle that could fly at incredible speeds as his mount, it would be much easier for him to get out of this vast and dense forest.

Lightning-like, Yang Ling jumped up from the treetop and grabbed the Griffin's right claw. He then flipped over and rode onto its back, quickly biting his index finger to drop a drop of fresh blood onto its forehead. Instantly, a silver glow burst forth on the Griffin's body, revealing mysterious symbols one by one, and after being domesticated, it obediently became Yang Ling's mount.

Taking a deep breath, Yang Ling commanded the Griffin to land on a massive boulder. Earlier, when he had dripped blood to tame the Griffin, he felt the fresh blood and magic power surge out wildly, leaving him exhausted in an instant. It seemed that these Griffins were far more powerful than the Hornet Beasts; if they hadn't been fighting mindlessly, they would have torn him to shreds with a single charge, and he wouldn't have had time to tame them one by one with his blood.

  "Oh no, help!"

  "Oh no, my thigh..."

  .....

The black-clothed warriors were agile, but the attacking horned beasts were too numerous. Many people didn't even have time to gather before being surrounded by a group of horned beasts and crazily attacked, and in the blink of an eye they became a pile of white bones. Some were even swallowed whole, leaving no bones behind, their dying screams echoing through the air, making people's hair stand on end.

Looking at the densely packed horned beasts, listening to the 'crunching' sound of biting and tearing, not to mention the black-clad warriors, even the unscathed elves felt their scalps numb.

"Summoner? Eberlys, the forest elf's ambush!" Looking at the only attacking black-clothed warriors, coordinating tacitly, specializing in targeting their own warriors to harm, and then looking at Yang Ling who suddenly rushed out under the protection of a team of hornets, Emiya was shocked and suddenly enlightened.

The Horned Beast is the lowest-level demonic beast, with low intelligence, and when encountering an enemy or prey, it would charge forward in a swarm. However, these sharp-horned beasts in front of him were advancing and retreating in an orderly manner, clearly having undergone rigorous training, and must have been under the control and command of Yang Ling, the summoner.

"Withdraw, quickly!" After a moment of hesitation, seeing more and more warriors dying miserably, even several magicians were unable to save themselves. Emiya understood that the situation was already lost, so she mounted the Griffin Lion and fled first.

  "Oh, my butt, oh..."

In a flurry, Ymia heavily sat on the Griffin's back, the wound on her buttocks still bleeding and was poked by the Griffin's hard bony spine, instantly causing her to cry out in pain. With no choice, as a large group of Angle Worm Beasts were approaching from behind, she could only endure the pain and ride the Griffin to flee for her life.

"Detestable spirits, damned summoners, wait for me, I will return!"

Looking at the sparse number of warriors beside him, Imiya's anger ignited in his heart. He had not expected to lead a large group of warriors here, only to end up with just this handful of people. Not one forest spirit was captured, and instead they paid a terrible price.
