Darkness. Void. Nothingness. I have been floating around for who knows how long in this emptiness. Why?
Why is this happening? Am I dead? No, I remember that storm. Leviathan. That name stuck throughout my being. What is that creature? I have only heard that name in the stories that I read to my sister. Sister. Is she alright? Who were those people from before?
Questions continued to flow through out my mind as I questioned everything from god down to my very self.
Who am I now? I do not believe that I am the same person I was before, there is something else to me. I no longer feel, like a person. Like a human.

What is this? This confirms what I was thinking beforehand. I am no longer on vearth and I am no longer human. Reincarnated One. If what this says is true then that means I have died and have been reborn somewhere else.
Void. Darkness. This is all I have known for most of the time I have been alive in this world. Dragging on and on, no end in sight. Wait. If what is think is true is true then, in books if I try to feel what’s inside me then…

I was right. In a way, you just have to understand what that Element is like and have a feeling of what it means to be in it and use it. I wonder why Void went into the same slot as the Darkness affinity. Maybe because it is one in the same element, or perhaps they make up each other. I wonder what I can do with these affinities though. Let’s try something.

Ok. Let’s try to see what has happened to my body, and what changes have taken place after I have died and been reborn. ‘I start to scan though my body, touching different parts of it to see what has changed from my human form that I previously had in my last life.’
Hmm. Not much has changed from what I can tell, except that my ears are longer and pointy, sort of like an elf in the stories, I can’t really describe what I look like since I can’t see anything, but.

I think I am beginning to understand how to see the different things and how to obtain them. They are based off of what you think as well as what you have done. Since I have been in this darkness for who knows how long I have already gained experience in this skill. It just took me to actually think of gaining something to actually be able to gain it. I don’t think I really like this system but I will try to make use of it.
Now that I can see things I still see nothing. Not like Black nothing, more like there is nothing around me, not light, not dark, nothing. I can see my body now. It looks like I am in the body of a ten year old, based off how tall I am and how long the different parts of my body are. Looking at my skin I have a milky white skin color with black lines running down my skin in weird looking symbols. My teeth are pointed sharply at my canines, more so then when I was a human. I cannot see my face but by feeling it I can feel that I have a sharp nose, soft skin, slightly chubby cheeks, and dimples when I smiled. My hair is long with Black, and white stripes running through my silver hair. My body is smooth without an inch of fat or muscle on it.
I decided to see if more of my theories were pertaining to this blue screen system, and if what I thought was true was.

I was right it is those kind of commands, also it made a different kind of noise then before when I earned something. I guess that’s used to differentiate between the two. Now let’s try just thinking of opening to status screen with my mind and not saying it out loud.

That description is pretty vague, I guess I won’t understand it until it activates. If this is a game like world then maybe you only get some of the items when you kill something. Maybe with this you get all their items. Let’s see about Dark Being.

Eh? Guess it’s not going to tell me. Kind of disappointed in that one. Since I have an affinity with every element let’s see if I can use it to do something.

Well. Worth a shot. Guess I’m going to have to do this the hard way and try to find the energy within myself. Or something like that.
Feel the energy within yourself. Feel the energy around you. Absorb. Release. Absorb. Release. This feels kind of like breathing, except it’s not coming from my nose or mouth. It kind of feels like the energy is coming from my chest. But not my chest. From my Brain, yet not my brain. It’s kind of a weird experience that I cannot describe that well. Let’s try pushing that energy out of my hand to see what happens.

Ok that’s pretty useful. Looking down at the mana being pushed from my hand it’s a strange assortment of different colors. I see black, red, yellow, green, white, every color that you can think of and some that you did not know of are there. It’s quite beautiful the way it moves around, all of the colors shimmering like waves in an endless sea. I wonder what I will be able to do with this?
