The Hidden bunker

Chapter 18.5 — The Hidden Bunker

Hidden behind reinforced walls and silence, Hirauka listened.

Williams’ voice echoed faintly through the bunker corridor, calm and confident — the voice of a man who believed himself untouchable.

  Williams:

“Everything’s clear. The order must be imported.”

  Guard:

“Don’t worry, boss. It’s already arranged.”

  Williams:

  “Good. This is a hundred-million-dollar deal. I won’t tolerate a single mistake.”

  Guard:

“Relax, sir. Just like the previous shipments — smooth and clean.”

  Williams exhaled in satisfaction.

“Perfect. I’ll go check the remaining details myself.”

  The footsteps faded.

  Hirauka’s eyes narrowed.

“So Souta was right… he really is a criminal.”

A familiar voice answered from behind him.

  “Yes. You were right.”

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

  Hirauka turned instantly, startled.

“Sayaka?! Don’t sneak up on me like that.”

  She crossed her arms.

“Don’t blame me. You didn’t sense me — that’s on you.”

  Hirauka frowned.

“But I’m in stealth. How are you even seeing me?”

  Sayaka spoke calmly.

“When two people enter stealth simultaneously, they exist on the same hidden layer. Others can’t see us — but we can see each other. Think of it as overlapping dimensions.”

“Oh,” Hirauka muttered. “You could’ve warned me.”

“Noted,” she replied. “Now focus. We finish this.”

  ---

They moved deeper into the bunker, unseen.

Guards passed by without noticing anything — unaware that judgment walked beside them. Williams stopped before a heavy steel door. Retina scan. Voice authentication.

  The locks disengaged.

  Lights flooded the stock room.

Crates filled the space — sealed, numbered, stacked with precision.

  Williams stepped inside, smiling softly.

  “My beautiful merchandise,” he whispered.

“You’re the foundation of my success. I’ll never stop selling you.”

  A cold voice answered him.

  “But now you will.”

  Williams stiffened.

  Sayaka stepped forward beside Hirauka.

“Williams,” she said quietly. “I never thought you were this kind of man.”

He turned slowly — not surprised, but amused.

“So you found out,” he said, smiling.

  “I expected this eventually.”

  Sayaka clenched her fists.

“I trusted you. As a partner.”

  Williams shrugged.

“Trust is a currency, Sayaka. I simply spent it.”

  Hirauka stepped forward.

  “You’re finished. This ends now.”

  Williams laughed.

“Finished? You’re standing in my bunker.”

  He snapped his fingers.

Armed guards flooded the room, weapons raised.

  “You know,” Williams continued calmly,

“your employees are already captured. One word from me, and they’re gone.”

  Sayaka froze.

“You can’t do that. They’re innocent.”

“Innocence doesn’t exist in business,” Williams replied coldly.

“That spy you mentioned? Also in my custody.”

  He tilted his head.

  “Any last words?”

  Hirauka glanced at Sayaka.

  “I think it’s time.”

  She nodded.

  “I was waiting.”

  Williams scoffed.

“You think you can escape this?”

In a blink, Hirauka and Sayaka vanished.

Williams staggered back as they reappeared directly before him.

  “W–What the—?!”

  Hirauka’s voice was calm.

  “We are not ordinary.”

  Sayaka’s eyes glowed faintly.

“We are the light you never saw coming.”

  In seconds, it was over.

Guards collapsed one by one — disarmed, unconscious, defeated without excess force. Williams never landed a blow.

Moments later, restraints clicked shut around his wrists.

  “This is impossible…” he whispered.

“No,” Hirauka replied. “This is consequence.”

  ---

They freed the captured employees, neutralized the bunker, and escorted Williams out.

At the port, Souta waited in silence.

  Hirauka handed Williams over.

  “He’s yours.”

  Souta nodded grimly.

  “Good work.”

As dawn broke, the cruise ship prepared to leave.

Hirauka stood at the railing, watching the island fade into the horizon.

  This was not a raid.

  This was justice.

And the gods were still watching.
