In a place known as the wastelands, two monsters are having a conversation in a room that has been half destroyed. A woman's voice can be heard as she says "A darkness has spread through the world as the prophecy has just begun. You, my friend, must stop the others before they can rally. With their blood we make sure that him and him alone reign supreme. Go forth from this wasteland, Vidan the Resurrector"

  Vidan is an Ancient being who was once human. He gave up his humanity to join the dark forces of the world and made a deal with a devil. He now controls the dead and uses them as pawns to do his bidding. After his deal he gained an extended life so long as he used his powers to bring others back. But the drawback was his face would be that of a skeleton. "Finally, I can do a lot more then send a few golems their way, come with me out of these wastelands"

  Vidan leaves the room as three figures await him outside. The wastelands are a huge desert that splits the world in two. One is in the shape of a huge dog that towers over everyone. Another figure of a woman with horns, wings, and a tail. The last one is another woman floating with a dress that has holes in it. Vidan tells them "Tomorrow, we are set free, join me as we take back what's ours"

  The year is 341 AM (After Merlin's death) and 187 years after the great calamity that split the world apart, also creating the desert known as the wasteland. The wasteland is home to thousands of unidentified creatures, and the desert itself spans thousands of miles. Though most of the wasteland is uninhabitable, there is a small city halfway through the wasteland. The people that live there are called ravagers. They are a bandit group who murder and steal from anyone crossing the wasteland. The ravagers have also tamed a handful of the most dangerous creatures from the wasteland. Therefore, no kingdom dares to go anywhere near them. The leader of this group is called Vidan the Resurrector.

  But as the forces of evil gather, one knight known for being the weakest awakens from his injuries and is greeted by a giant fire breathing dragon.

  As Alaric sees this huge red dragon, he starts to think to himself that he is in hell. He gets up from the bed he was sleeping on. He must be dead; no way is he looking at this giant red dragon who is staring him down as Alaric is locked up behind bars. "Stop freaking out, little one" The dragon says in one of the most terrifying voices Alaric has ever heard. Alaric freezes in place because he read somewhere that if you do not move the dragons will not be able to see you.

  "I told you to stop freaking out. That does not mean you cannot move or breathe at all" the dragon tells Alaric. He starts moving slowly back into his bed. "It's fine, even if this is a dream I'm moving so slow, he won't be able to see me" Alaric says aloud accidentally.

  "Will you stop fooling around for one second?" The dragon asks. But Alaric already closed his eyes and is trying to go back to sleep to escape this nightmare.

  "I am going to have to do this the hard way then" the dragon says as his tail goes and opens the door to the cell that Alaric is in. His tail picks up the bed he is on and takes him outside the cell. Alaric tries even harder to keep his eyes closed as he is now scared for his life. That is when he hears wings flapping and suddenly a huge gust of wind takes the blanket that he was using. He opens his eyes and he is flying through the sky on the dragons back. He looks back to where they were flying from and sees a gigantic cave. They are flying over a huge chestnut oak forest.

  "What the hell is happening!!!?" Alaric screams. The dragon lets out a terrifying laugh.

  "Do not worry boy, you will understand soon enough, she will explain everything"

  Meanwhile, a town not too far away from where the dragon and Alaric are. A woman seduces a man into a dark alley. After luring him back there, he screams for help only to be cut off by a chewing noise. Blood flows on to the street as people notice and see a dead man who has little to no more blood in his body, and the woman disappeared.
