Chapter Seventy-One: Return to Morning Mist Town

"With a head that looks like it's been chewed by a wild dog, you dare to compare with Downton? Where does your confidence come from?" Holma threw out the words in Dutch.

"Hum, that's your problem with vision, too superficial, can't appreciate this kind of imperfect beauty?"

Jackson's expression was disdainful, contemptuous of Holma, and with his hands clasped together as if embracing a dancing girl, he began to waltz in the grand hall of the bank.

The mighty Mo Tian, who had never been underestimated by anyone, couldn't stand this kind of insult. He stretched out his six elemental arms and slapped Jackson's face fiercely.

"Oh no, stop hitting me! I only have eight teeth left, if you hit me again they'll all fall out!" Jackson clutched his head and ran down the stairs.

"Sly, but unfortunately there's a death contract on you. Even if you run to the depths of the underworld, I can still find you." Holma sneered.

Jackson stopped, hung his head, sat down on the ground in a listless manner, stared at the sky and began to daydream.

"What are you doing?" Looking at the gloomy and melancholic Foodie Ghost, Tang Dun couldn't help but laugh.

"Mourn the loss of a free life." Jackson hadn't finished speaking when he suddenly seemed to remember something, jumped up and ran back to Downton's side, with a flattering expression asking, "I am your loyal servant, even if you ask me to die, I will not hesitate."

"What did you want to say?" Downton frowned.

"What's my treatment like?" Jackson chimed in hastily, "No need to be too good, three meals a day, six big brains will do."

"Get out!" Tandon kicked his leg and kicked Jackson's belly, kicking him out. "Don't mention anything about internal organs in front of me from now on."

"Are you going to starve loyal Jackson to death?" The ghoul looked pitiful, as if it had followed a stingy master.

"Can I take back the contract? This guy is a chatterbox!" Tanton rubbed his temples, Jackson's noise pollution really gave him a headache.

"Alright, I'll shut up." Jackson followed Danton, and after accepting the reality, he suddenly found that being a servant wasn't all bad either. At least he could leave the dungeon, and without having to hunt himself, he could eat fresh entrails.

For the newly acquired slave, Tondon was still quite satisfied, although his body was a bit tattered, but his status was not bad, and his IQ was no different from that of ordinary people. No, he should be even more cunning, sinister enough, and any ordinary magician who encountered him would definitely be ambushed and knocked down.

Look at Jackson's outfit, a large shield behind him, a curved knife at his waist, a crossbow slung obliquely, and two daggers inserted in his boots. Even some stains were smeared on them as poison, so that the poor devil stabbed by such a dagger would definitely get infected with pus if he didn't clean the wound.

Jackson was taken care of, the Magic Book absorbed the remaining soul fragments of the Devil Spider Mother, and Danton began to inspect the remaining spoils in the treasury.

Thirty steel containers were all opened, and then golden and white glows shone alternately, almost dazzling Danton's eyes.

Among them were twenty that stored high-grade magic stones with extremely high magical energy, and Tang Dong finally didn't have to worry about not having any magic stones.

The remaining containers were filled with gold bars, each one weighing 100 ounces of standard weight, which could be used as a bludgeon.

"This is great, your net worth must be over 100 million now." Mo Dian teased. The gold coins from three thousand years ago were antiques with collectible value, but the gold bars didn't have that, so they could be spent freely.

"The current problem is how to transform them into combat power." Danton had no clear concept of luxury life, he would rather exchange these gold bars for magic diamonds to cultivate.

"No rush, take your time, when you have the chance, go to a big city and splurge. Holma actually wanted to tell Tondon that if he wants to restore his former glory, these gold bars are far from enough to exchange for magic diamonds."

If it weren't for the limited resources, Tangdon and Serese would have used them first, and the magic book would have directly absorbed all the magical energy from those magic drills.

  "Hmm!"

Load the cargo into the war zone, Tongton takes Jackson to capture the corpse-eating ghost.

Carrying an oil lamp, walking on the dimly lit long street, Tong Dun finally felt unprecedented relaxation, with only one of the Robinson trio left, his pressure greatly reduced.

"Master, you absolutely cannot go to the North City District, because of the magical energy well, the wise and immortal clan all have their roots there." Jackson was deeply afraid that Tong would get a fever in his head and run off to send himself to death.

"Are there any powerful guys? How about that undead lich in black robes?" Tang Don thought of the skull dragon, if he could tame it into a demonic servant and take it out, it would be too cool, and it could also serve as a mount.

"There are quite a few formidable guys, that group of Death Knights is the most united and difficult to deal with, their strength is unclear." Jackson quickly pulled away and covered his head, worried about being beaten up.

Jackson was timid and afraid of death, seeing those powerful beings from afar, he bypassed them far away, who dared to go and die.

"Go and bring back a low-ranking Ghoul!"

With this head snake who is more familiar with the underground city than Bisera, Tang Dun's actions have become much simpler.

Jackson's face was unwilling, but under the constraint of the death contract, he could not resist.

Danton chose a quiet street, leaning against the wall, huddled under an oil lamp to read. Before long, Jackson came running back, panting heavily.

"Master, let's move quickly!" Jackson urged, carrying a large shield and constantly prodding, if the master didn't want to catch it alive, he would have struck down this detestable ghoul long ago.

"Hold it!" Tandon released the vengeful spirit's confession, and a golden arrow shot towards the ghoul, hitting its mark but having no effect.

The ghoul was enraged by the holy spell and just wanted to rush over and kill Danton when it was blocked by the devil servants.

"Don't attack! I don't want Mo Fan to get hurt before he's even in my hands!"

Facing a low-ranking ghoul surrounded by a group of demonic servants, Tongdon easily released the vengeful spirit's confession.

The second arrow hit the Ghoul's chest, and suddenly a brilliant light burst forth, a holy aura coalesced into the image of a female angel, her eyes closed as she sang a sacred hymn.

Under the sacred hymn, the ghouls stopped moving, quiet like a sinner who was confessing.

"Stop it, can't you see they've all stopped?!?" Tong Dun was furious seeing Jackson still sneak attacking the ghouls, this guy was so stubborn and unwilling to yield even a little.

"Ah, sorry master, I didn't notice." Jackson made up a lie and immediately ran off, "I'll go fetch the next one."

As a ghoul, Jackson was familiar with the undead in this part of town, having lived there for decades. The spirits he summoned were all around Soul Stage One, just as Tongdon had intended.

After infusing the Starlight Sea Urchin's soul seed, Tang Dong's soul power surged, and he could now control two low-ranking Corpse Eaters. In addition to that, he could also bring ten ordinary miscellaneous soldiers.

Less than an hour later, Downton completed his mission and began to return to his hiding place.

Because of the addition of powerful new members, the Mazoku were renumbered.

Tangton originally wanted to call Jackson No. 1, but the guy refused to obey, even throwing a tantrum, so he had no choice but to give up, and the two low-ranking ghouls became No. 1 and No. 2 respectively, as for the others, they followed in sequence.

  ……

After having a sumptuous dinner and telling half of the story of The Count of Monte Cristo, Darcy proposed to return to Meryton.

"Going back again?" Serene pouted upon learning that Tangdon was leaving, her face filled with discontent.

"As soon as I set up the portal, I can take you to Dawnmist Town for a visit." Tang Don stroked the Death Nymph's head, comforting her.

"Alright, then you'd better come back soon." Serese was reluctant, but she also knew that this trip was inevitable.

  "Definitely!"

Downton makes a promise and then it's time to prepare for the trip.

Due to the scarcity of magical materials, Holma was unable to establish a luxurious and stable space transmission gate, so she chose the simplest transmission array.

"In any case, we have war space, and you don't need to bring a large quantity of goods, this is enough." Holma explained, seeing that Tang Dun was not satisfied with the transmission array.

Since it's not troublesome, then let's set up a few more. The cunning rabbit has three burrows, in case the old nest is blocked by others." Tang Dun was always cautious and after consulting with Holma, he set up transmission arrays at three locations before stopping.

Maintaining the portal array's daily operation requires the consumption of magic stones, otherwise Tang Dun still wants to establish more.

After having a good sleep and regaining his energy, Tang Don felt it was time to part ways.

Serres' eyes were red, pulling on Tangdon's sleeve, reluctant to part.

"I'll be back soon, don't run around, and don't provoke Robinson." Downton warned repeatedly.

"Remember to come back early!" Seres nodded.

"Hmm!" Tongdon jumped onto the wall, then a giant jumped and got on the roof, rushing towards the hotel, after running over 100 meters, he turned back, found Serese still standing in place, waving his hand non-stop.

"Next time we come back, we'll be attacking the Mages' Tower and the Rich District." Holma looked at the towering magical tower, eager for the items stored inside.

"That probably means running into the Lich Wizard!" Tang Don was more interested in the Duke's mansion.

  "Are you afraid?" Holma encouraged.

"I'm afraid it won't show up." Tong Dun jumped out forcefully, passing through the broken window into the inn. "Otherwise, I'll definitely smash it to feed the dogs."

"With this confidence, it's enough." Holma liked the expression on Tang Zheng's face when he said this, his angular face was full of determination and charm.

Toni did as Robinson instructed, summoning some ghouls to block the corridor and prevent Tangdon from leaving through the transmission gate.

But now Tanton is a magician of the second stage of the soul's peak state, and compared to that ordinary person at the beginning, he has become much stronger.

These ghouls didn't even cause any trouble before being slaughtered by Tang Dun like chopping vegetables, contributing their residual souls.

After placing the cut magic stone on the node, the teleportation gate was activated. Tandon stepped in and once again felt that feeling of being immersed in water, then his whole body lightened up and entered the Crow Ridge Inn.

Sunlight pours through the hole in the roof and spills down, a warm patch!
