Chapter 57: The Battle of Accumulated Thunder Mountain (Part 2)
After Lion Camel King spat blood, his moves became even more frantic, as if he would tear off a piece of flesh from Pu Xian even if it killed him.
The other great demon kings also struck with increasing severity at this time, and killing intent appeared on their faces. If they had just wanted to win against these several bodhisattvas and help the Bull Demon King earlier, now they truly wanted to leave these several bodhisattvas in the Accumulated Thunder Mountain.
It's just that their strength was inferior to the three Bodhisattvas by one level, so even if several great demon kings started fighting desperately, the three Bodhisattvas still fought relatively easily.
He had activated the Thunderclap Sundering Heaven Manual, but he couldn't sustain it for long. He felt that he could only hold on for half an incense stick's time. If he forcibly activated the Thunderclap Sundering Heaven Manual again after that, it would bring great harm to both his physical body and his Nascent Soul.
So at this time, Lei Hao looked like a more crazy Lion Camel King.
"Earthquake!"
"Surfing!"
Without caring about the consumption of his strength, Lei Hao risked his life to slash out knife after knife, the solid blade energy howling towards Dashizhi. However, Dashizhi was not to be underestimated as one of the few great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism, wielding a golden vajra pestle with one hand and dancing with moves that left no gaps in defense. Lei Hao's ultimate killing technique was useless against him.
Seeing Lei Hao risking his life, Sun Wukong also swung his Golden Hoop Staff with a speed that was almost invisible to the naked eye.
"Tearing the sky" massive energy rapidly smashed towards Da Shi Zhi.
Feeling the great crisis brought by Sun Wukong's aura, Dàshìzhì threw down the two golden rods and formed a '卍' character on his head with an eerie glow. He clasped his hands together and recited: "If I am to attain Buddhahood, but there are still those in my land who suffer in hell, as hungry ghosts, or as beasts... then I shall not attain supreme enlightenment..." A rapid and rhythmic chanting voice arose, waves of golden light issuing from Dàshìzhì's mouth and merging into the '卍' character on his head. An egg-shaped Buddha aura shield enveloped Dàshìzhì's entire body.
It was too late then, and just as he finished preparing the spell of the protective screen, Sun Wukong's powerful blow landed on his body.
Under Sun Wukong's fierce and eager gaze, the powerful blow smashed onto the protective shield of Taiyi, but in the next moment, a hint of disappointment flashed across Lei Hao's eyes.
The mighty energy was like a baseball bat, hitting the ball with great force, heavily striking the ground, producing a loud "rumble" sound, raising a vast amount of smoke and dust, shaking the entire Accumulated Thunder Mountain.
The power that could shatter half of the Accumulated Thunder Mountain was unable to cause any substantial harm to the Great Sage, Equal to Heaven.
Sun Wukong placed his hand on his eyebrow, creating a cool canopy, and said with a hint of disdain: "I thought the Labor Subduing Mountain's Bodhisattva was quite something, but in my hands, he's nothing more than an ant!" The soft voice wasn't loud, yet it clearly echoed across the entire battlefield.
The Lion Camel King, who was in the midst of a fierce battle, burst out laughing: "Hahaha... The Beautiful Monkey King is right, these sanctimonious Bodhisattvas are just a bunch of stinky bugs. Just for this sentence, I, Old Lion, acknowledge you as my brother... Cough cough cough." The Lion Camel King's frenzied voice echoed throughout the entire Accumulated Thunder Mountain.
The voice of the Ox King also sounded at this time, his thick and calm voice even in battle seemed so calm: "Old Lion said it's extreme, thank you all for accompanying me to fight these stinky bugs, I'll remember this favor, from now on you are my brothers." In the calm tone, there was an unquestionable firmness.
The voice of the Bull Demon King fell, and then the voice of the Monkey King rang out: "Great! Great! Fight!" The voice was somewhat tired but exceptionally pleasant.
As they spoke, a strong golden light burst out from the smoke and dust in the earth, and the Bodhisattva with no aura or momentum at all stepped slowly out of the smoke and dust, his footsteps seemingly slow. His ferocious expression was surprisingly calm, as if he had obtained great joy and transcendence and had no more regrets, that kind of calmness.
Mahāsattva approached Sun Wukong step by step with an eerie aura, his eyes fixed only on Sun Wukong, and in his world, there was only Sun Wukong.
"You demons are all obstacles to our Buddhahood, I will become the angry Vajra, subdue the demons and prove the Bodhi in my heart." The voice of Dashizhi Bodhisattva was extremely ethereal, devoid of any subjective emotions, but the ethereal voice carried a thunderous anger, a kind of pure and compassionate anger that seemed to emanate from the heavens themselves.
Lei Hao saw the grand momentum reach this state, and his heart felt a chill. This was the realm he had always sought, where those who were with him were righteous and those who opposed him were evil.
Sun Wukong felt the aura of Da Shi as he looked at his eyes, scratched the monkey hair on his body, and also felt a chill in his heart. To dispel the chill in his heart, Sun Wukong raised his stick and smashed it down.
"Ripping the sky." Sun Wukong this time smashed out a burst of energy that was exactly like the Golden Cudgel, this move "Ripping the Sky" Sun Wukong now uses is also quite skilled, its power growing greater and greater.
The mighty aura once again brought a whistling momentum to crash into Da Shizhi Bodhisattva, this scene was all too familiar.
It was just the Great Sage who, for the first time, did not re-form the Buddha's Light Shield. He looked at Sun Wukong's stick energy with a slight disdain and lightly raised his hand, stretching out one finger against this energy.
A very rich and jade-like finger, without any Buddha light, pierced through the layers of space, seemingly only stretching out an arm's length but directly appearing tens of feet away, suddenly piercing a hole the size of a finger in the midst of the air.
The black hole had no threads of other colors, only a black hole, and then in the blink of an eye, it burst out with infinite crystal-colored light. In an instant, it illuminated the surrounding area of ??Bailing Mountain for hundreds of miles, and at the same time, a warm and gentle voice like spring rain echoed in the hearts of all the little monsters on Bailing Mountain.
Under this radiance, time seemed to have come to a standstill, and all the demon kings and bodhisattvas ceased their fighting.
Under this radiance, all mountains and rivers became transparent like jellyfish, with only a faint outline representing all things.
Under this radiance, under the excessive slaughter and killing, all the evil, twisted little demons in his heart were completely annihilated, without even a single speck of residue left behind.
Under this radiance, even the little demons with a bit of kindness left in their hearts wailed and knelt to the ground, piously clasping their hands together and reciting scriptures.
Lei Hao in the sky was struggling with a desperate expression, constantly gripping and loosening his hand on the Dragon Slayer. The Dragon Slayer also trembled non-stop, emitting waves of fierce killing intent.
Other demon kings were the same, with the Lion Camel King's reaction being the most extreme. At times, he was ferocious and full of killing intent, as if he wanted to destroy the world; at other times, his face was gentle and kind, with a warm smile that could melt ice and snow.
At this time, Guanyin, Samantabhadra and Manjushri all looked at Dashizhi with a complex expression, looking at the Dashizhi 'Bodhisattva' who had never been taken seriously by them before. After several breaths, the three Bodhisattvas put their palms together in a Buddhist ritual.
"Avalokiteshvara (Samantabhadra, Manjushri) has seen the great power of the Buddha." After saying this to the three Bodhisattvas, they stood quietly in mid-air, expressionless and gazing at all the demon kings.
Mahasthamaprapta did not notice the three Bodhisattvas' greetings, he sat on the lotus platform with his eyes closed and a sorrowful expression, a golden flame suddenly burning on his body, this flame burned away all the jewels, Buddha light on Mahasthamaprapta's body, even his infinite lifespan seemed to be consumed, his skin which was radiating cyan jade light gradually turned pale, then wrinkles appeared.
After a few breaths, the momentum that had been burning for half of its life turned into a man with two long eyebrows hanging down, his face full of wrinkles and creases, his whole body radiating an extremely terrifying but bottomless aura, like the return of a reflected shadow.
Only then did the great monk, now transformed into an old monk, lightly chant: "When I attain Buddhahood, there will be infinite light; when I attain Buddhahood, evil will be punished; when I attain Buddhahood, goodness will achieve eternal life."
Looking at the already accomplished Mahasthamaprapta, Guanyin Bodhisattva's eyes showed a look of admiration: "I didn't expect that after serving the Buddha for several thousand years, I would let a junior take the lead." Today, Mahasthamaprapta took the last step to attain Buddhahood in front of him, achieving the fruit of Buddhahood with his golden body as a Bodhisattva. After Mahasthamaprapta's final rebirth, he will be promoted to Buddha and become one of the Buddhas on Spirit Mountain.
What about these demon kings?
Guanyin looked at the Bull Demon King and other demon kings with a hint of compassion, and they were transformed by the boundless crystal light emitted from the Great Sage's Buddhist practice into Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Vajras, becoming the Buddha's army under the Great Sage's command. For the rest of their lives, they would be controlled by the Great Sage, filled with endless devotion to him in their hearts, without a single desire left.
After a dozen or so breaths, Lei Hao solemnly loosened his grip on Tulong, and Tulong inserted itself into the earth with a mournful cry. The blood energy on the Lion Camel King's body also stopped surging and became stable, and a look of 'relief' seemed to appear on its face, as it loosened its grip on the Guandao...
After a stick of incense, when all the flames on Da Shizhi's body had burned out, Da Shizhi had turned into an ordinary old monk wearing tattered clothes with not even half a hint of terror left.
Only the old monk's face was calm and facing west, piously performing a Buddhist ritual, and then lightly beckoning to the Bull Demon King, Lei Hao and other demon kings. Except for Sun Wukong, all the demon kings floated up lightly.
Then, behind the old monk, a large black door suddenly opened, and the old monk led the six demon kings to float into the door.
At this moment, a black flash passed by, and a figure in a black robe suddenly appeared behind the old monk.
