Chapter 10: Dont move, raise your hands!

Chapter 10: Don't move, raise your hands!

  Night.

  Dead silence.

Two dark shadows flashed by, hurrying towards a certain building. In the darkness, a lithe figure hung far away, occasionally hiding behind utility poles or wooden fences to conceal their shape, not letting the two dark shadows in front discover them.

"Quick, it's right here. Remember, let me talk, you shut up, got it?"

Fred viciously yanked on his companion's collar, issuing a stern warning.

He can't help it, still remembering the last transaction, it was this idiot who spoke nonsense and offended the other party, almost getting them killed by the other party.

"Don't worry, Fred, I won't interfere!" This person seemed to know that his last behavior had already angered his companions and was not angry at Fred's verbal abuse.

"It's fine if you know, I'll go knock on the door."

The two walked to the door of the house, Fred carefully turned his head to look at the quiet night street, and after making sure that no one was following, he handed the handbag in his right hand to his left hand, and knocked on the door with his empty right hand.

"Dong dong dong~ dong dong~ dong dong dong dong"

A series of rhythmic knocks was followed by the sound of footsteps coming from inside the house, and then the door creaked open a crack, revealing a face peeking out from within.

  "Oh! It's Fred, you're late."

The other man obviously recognized Fred, glanced at his watch and frowned.

"Damn it, Mu De, you know my mom is particularly nagging, I had to rack my brains to get out of the house, just a few minutes late, you won't be so petty about this, will you?"

Namu De smiled and apparently also knew Fred's mother, knowing that his mother's mouth was indeed very sharp.

"Alright, has the goods arrived?" Mu De asked directly.

"Don't worry, the goods are right here." Fred nodded slightly at the handbag on his left hand and patted it with his right hand. "How about your money? Are you ready?"

"Of course, I'm ready. Just wait a moment." As he spoke, Mud closed the door and when it opened again soon after, his hand was carrying an additional bag, roughly the same size as Fred's, an ordinary travel bag.

"Want to take a look?" Fred unzipped his duffel bag with one hand, then rummaged through the pile of dirty clothes and pulled out something about the size of a brick. At the same time, he drew a dagger from behind his waist.

"Give." Fred stabbed the knife into the brick-like thing's surface, just a shallow stab, and when he pulled out the knife, its tip was coated with some white powder.

Mude took the dagger, sniffed it with his nose, closed his eyes in a look of enjoyment, and only opened them again after ten or more seconds. He then gave Fred a thumbs up.

  "Awesome!"

Fred smiled and nodded to his companion behind him, then Mud also opened the handbag in his hand, revealing a bag full of US dollars inside.

"You'd better check too," said Mud.

Fred's companion walked up, casually pulled out a dozen bills from the bag, flipped them over with his fingers 'whoosh', then pulled one out from the middle and examined it carefully before nodding at Fred beside him.

Having obtained his companion's consent, a satisfied smile immediately appeared on Fred's face.

"Mude, I'll treat you to a drink another day!" He happily exchanged bags with Mude and zipped up the zipper of his bag with a smile.

"For Pete's sake, can't you leave these filthy clothes out next time? They're disgusting! I'll have to figure out a way to deal with them!" Mud looked clearly displeased at Fred's dirty laundry that had been stuffed into the bag, his face twisted in distaste.

Fred exchanged a glance with his companions and they all burst out laughing.

"Alright Mu De, we'll meet again someday."

"See you later, I'll come find you in a few days and we can have a drink together, and also discuss the next deal."

As they left Mud's house, Fred and his companion beamed with joy, clutching a bag full of money, completely unaware of the dark figure that had been following them from ten meters behind.

Lin Xiao followed the two people in front of him, his eyes fixed on the bag of money, his heart burning with envy.

"It's all mine!" Lin Xiao's eyes gleamed with a faintly sinister light, his right hand tightly gripping the pistol, his finger straight on the trigger, but not pulling it. This was to prevent himself from accidentally firing due to nervousness. After all, this was Lin Xiao's first time engaging in such illicit activities, and although his target wasn't a good person, he still felt incredibly tense, which could be seen from his slightly trembling legs.

When following the two men over, Lin Xiao had already found a place to make his move. It was a deep and narrow alleyway, dark and damp, with few people passing by. Those two guys doing this kind of thing naturally didn't dare to walk openly on the main road, so all along the way they took shortcuts, walking through these small alleys, which gave Lin Xiao the opportunity to make his move.

Seeing the two people in front of him walk into their chosen next destination, Lin Xiao couldn't help but take a deep breath of the cool night air into his lungs, while also patting his own cheek with his hand.

"Victory is permissible, defeat is not!"

Gathering the greatest courage, Lin Xiao directly accelerated his speed and ran into a nearby abandoned small park, jumped over a wall, took a shortcut and arrived at the depths of that alley before those two people.

Hiding in the darkness, Lin Xiao tightened the black coat he had snatched from someone else's house halfway.

At this time, a sound of footsteps and voices came from one side of the alley. Lin Xiaozi knew that his target had arrived, so he immediately stood up straight, with his hand on the trigger, ready to respond to any changes at any time.

Fred was excitedly hugging his bag and telling his companions about the thrilling experience of his first robbery, when suddenly he caught a glimpse of a black shadow flashing out from the wall's shadow with the corner of his eye, and then something hard, cold and icy was pressed against his forehead.

"Don't move, put your hands up!"

Fred's first thought was that he had crashed into a pole, but soon he discovered that he was wrong.

  "Boom!"

Lin Xiao kicked one foot on another guy's lower body, he aimed at the position before kicking, but if it wasn't because the other party was stunned by the sudden unexpected situation, Lin Xiao wouldn't have been able to kick so easily.

A man's groin was kicked, the pain was enough to make him lose his combat effectiveness for several hours in the future. Lin Xiao only had one gun and could only directly threaten one person, while the other side had two people. To prevent all sorts of accidents, Lin Xiao had thought of a solution long ago.

"Hand over the handbag you're holding or I'll shoot a hole in your forehead!"

Lin Xiao grasped Fred's hand holding the suitcase with one hand, and in a low, pressing voice, he sternly threatened.
