Chapter 77: Seeing the Awful Damage…

  (Guinevere’s POV)

Faith: “Have you had enough of her?” She asked.

Guinevere: “It will never be enough… Especially not when she doesn’t have more than 10,000 years to live.” I deny with an angry tone.

I had sex with Celia until she passed out with a happy smile on her face. After I left her side, I soon met Faith outside of the room that she made for us.

Faith: “Well, that’s just how it is.” She replied with a shrug.

Guinevere: “She will be yours in her next life… but why are you so causal about her dying?” I ask, still angry.

Faith: “I have options to save her, and even if they fail, I will still get her in Celia’s next life.” She answered with an unbothered tone.

Guinevere: “…Options? What kind?” I reply, quickly demanding an answer from the woman.

Faith: “Nothing good, and nothing for certain right now. Celia has time, and I still need to consider all of them.” She refused to answer.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

  Guinevere: “…”

Faith: “Don’t act so pitiful… I am saving you all by not expressing these options. After all, most of them will absolutely make Celia hate me.” She replied with a coaxing tone.

Hate? Even if she’d hate me… I’d much prefer Celia to live for far longer. But I can’t force Faith to tell me anything at all. If I try to force her… Celia would end up hurt in the process. Right now, their souls are connected…

Faith: “Would you like to see the damage?” She asked.

Giving her a nod, Faith then led me further along Celia’s soul. On the way, I saw a beautiful garden, nestled inside of a peaceful and regal forest. This was Celia’s soul…

So beautiful, and so pure. This was the true face of the woman that we loved so dearly. Both inside and out, Celia was an absolute beauty. But… this wonderful luster… was being slowly ruined.

Faith: “Luckily, Celia doesn’t care much for exploring her own soul. And that house that I made for her… easily blocks out this tragic sight.” She added with a sigh.

  Guinevere: “…”

The stains on her soul were… so intense. To care for others as a Higher Being… this is the price. A price which Celia took on far too many time now. For example, each and every woman that she saved during this game greatly added to these stains.

Guinevere: “W-will she even live for 10,000 more years?” I ask with a nervous tone.

  Faith: “No.” She answered.

  Guinevere: “…”

Faith: “Maralia hasn’t seen the current state of Celia’s stained soul. At the moment, I estimate that she has a little over 7,000 years left to live. After the game is over… it will be even worse, and her time will be even less.” She explained with a grim tone.

  Thud!

Falling to my knees, I was almost broken. The girl that I loved… I found her too late, far, far too late to save. Faith has options… but we don’t know if they were pan out or not. Oddly, the woman did something that I didn’t expect of her. She hugged and consoled me…
