Chapter 9: More Restrictions…
(Celia’s POV)
With my movement situation all sorted, I was now able to do what I actually left James’s side to do. Which was, you know, gain a bunch of levels.
Hm… Wouldn’t a powerful monster also have some divinity? If so, why don’t I feel any at all, even for miles and miles of my detection range? Fuck… is this even working? I asked this to Faith, the residence game cheat knowledge library.
Faith: “Once more, divinity detection is blocked, and that ability that you had… wasn’t supposed to be removed. But it seems that your evolution was more advanced than Maralia expected, so it ended up getting erased.” She explained.
Celia: “…”
Well, that fucking sucks… With a sigh, I realized that I had to… actually search for enemies the old-fashioned way. That is, with my eyes…
Hours Later.
Upon searching the entirety of my land, which was very lush and regal, without any cities in sight, I came up with nothing of value. It was kinda cool to see my land, though. Apparently, if left alone, I’d just make some beautiful place, huh?

Faith: “It would seem that the NPC you… didn’t bother with developing her land at all. She doesn’t even have demons at her command, so you’ll probably have to go to a different country to find monsters.” She suggested.
Keep in mind, monsters did live in my country, and most were considerably strong. Or rather, these monsters, which aren’t in my control at all, would be a decent challenge for most humans. But for me… they’re weaker than paper!
Celia: “Won’t James wake up with me gone?” I ask in reply.
Faith: “James? With her evolution into a Supreme Goddess, James will be sleeping for months, Celia.” She replied.
Celia: “Oh…” I replied with a nod.
I didn’t actually know how long it typically takes to evolve into that race, as I never stuck around with someone until they evolved into one. And when I did, it was with my friends or family, but I used my divinity to greatly speed up their evolutions. Don’t blame me for being ignorant…
Nothing strong enough to give me good EXP per kill, is living on this land, so, just as Faith recommended me to do, I have to go to a different land to find enemies to slay. Now then… which direction should I fly in?
Faith: “Fly directly to the left.” She advised.
Celia: “…Are you cheating for me again?” I ask, nervously.
Faith: “Nope, not at all. I am just helping you make a choice. I am getting so bored just watching you fly around, with nothing interesting happening…” She clarified.
Celia: “(>3<)”
Thankfully, without my detection ability, it wasn’t like I had a reason to deny her suggestion on this matter. Either we’ll get lucky, or I’ll find nothing once more. But, with my current Status, and James still sleeping, time is very much on my side, to waste as I see fit!
