“Is everything ok with Katherine?” Matthew asked, gd to see Matilda return.

  He was feeling slightly more at ease tely, as having burnt the link between them was something he didn’t want to always rely on.

  “Yeah…” Matilda went to Matthew and just sat on him, whether he was ready for her or not.

  It had become habit, even though it had only been a couple of days that they were linked together.

  Matthew hugged her happily and breathed in her scent.

  “So, what now? You are always so busy…”

  Having had followed her and watched her, Matthew knew already that every day she would meditate, which was apparently a ‘big brother’ thing…He didn’t understand how a ‘big brother’, that he’d never seen before, had anything to do with watching other people so far away…

  Every day as well they were pnning the meeting and the stay of the haven emperor’s and such. The rooms still had to be completely emptied, as not all the people were able to just get up and go.

  Matilda had leaned towards keeping every visitor in one pce, which had meant finding pces for the people that were already residing in the motel or hotel type of pce.

  “Anything I can do, my love?” Matthew asked, not quite willing to leave her though.

  Matilda ughed at his thoughts and turned her face to give him a quick kiss. “If you get bored, just move me, but no I haven’t a job for you.”

  It didn’t take long for her to go into meditation and so Matthew cuddled into her, making up for lost time that she had not been around.

  God he wished that she’d tell him what had happened. Where she had been…When she had…

  Matthew still didn’t know for sure upon when Sahara had…Gone…

  Had it happened when they found that she had disappeared? Or had she tried to run, and it had happened then?

  There were still so many bnk spots for Matthew that he nearly, more than once or twice, had demanded to know!

  “Mother!”

  Matthew looked up at Kin, who had just walked into their room.

  After a stare, Matthew asked, “What is it?”

  Kin pouted, “I had just wanted to…It’s fine. I’ll come back ter.”

  There was this one too that wanted to demand as well!

  His father was keeping his mother from him!

  It wasn’t fair!

  Matilda had actually spent little time with Kin. It wasn’t on purpose! She just had little time to do whatever she wanted!

  Matthew was a tag along, so he undoubtedly always got attention, but poor Kin had rarely been able to beside his mother since meeting her for the first time!

  The brief time that they’ve had together, Matilda had promised quite a few things. One was that spiritual hug at bedtime, and another was a fight…

  They had made a big deal about her when Matilda had brought up a fight, with her knowing people’s thoughts and all, but Matilda wanted to fight them all to see what’s there firsthand.

  There was more than one reason for this, obviously she wanted to see how tough her little man was…But…Another reason was that she wanted to see how powerful they all were. She wanted to see how they all conducted themselves in that kind of predicament so that she could show the scene, if needed, to the haven emperors.

  Sell it! That’s what Matilda wanted to do with those heirs that come for the position…She wanted them to sell themselves. So yes, a fight needed to happen, whether it was to happen now, for her curiosity, or ter to show the haven emperor’s their capabilities, it will happen!

  …So…Matilda was far from what Matthew was thinking at this moment…

  Sighing into her neck, Matthew hugged her tighter.

  …Will there be a time when he would feel better and not think that it might be the st hug that he has with her?

  Just another minute or two went past and then another came in, “Sahara!”

  It was Steven this time, with something in his hand.

  Matthew looked up at him and Steven nodded, “I’ll come back ter.”

  Steven not only could see that Matilda was meditating but that Matthew was quite close with her right at that moment. He was not going to be a burden, even though he had been out doing a chore and had come back with news…

  Matthew had hardly moved when Steven had come in, so when Steven left, Matthew moved only slightly to go back to his position.

  Having people constantly loiter around his beloved used to vex him. He wanted to dominate her possessively!

  The people that had wanted her attention were always so into her in some kind of way! Emperor Seth had felt like he owed her because of what she had done to help Purple Haven. The Green Haven Emperor wanted white pills and to make her his little pawn! Even the Blue Haven Emperor liked her!

  If only she didn’t a type of personality that people would like!

  “Fan freaking tastic!” Matilda suddenly yelled out, scaring Matthew while at it.

  Matilda opened her eyes and frowned, while shaking her head. “Stupid! Why can’t that maniac just…”

  “What’s wrong, my love?” Matthew asked.

  Leaning into him, Matilda shrugged, “I’m sure Nate wants to kill the other Golden Heirs. He is on his way and angry! I feel like I should just kill him right now and save myself a lot of effort!”

  Matthew let out a chuckle. “You have my permission.”

  Getting up, only to sit facing him instead, Matilda put her legs around his waist and smiled at him, “I should, shouldn’t I? Even though I sent out all the letters…”

  Matthew kissed her neck, “It doesn’t matter.”

  Letting out a light moan to his hand and mouth, Matilda just repeated what Matthew said but didn’t really know why.

  They had become like new lovers, like they couldn’t keep their hands to one another!

  Half of the time that Matilda was free and not hungry or tired, Matthew had taken her…In more ways than one!

  He had made love to her in already so many ways in the st couple of days that Matilda was dizzy.

  Having pulled her clothes down, showing her shoulders, Matthew didn’t pull them down further, just in case another came storming in and demanding his love’s attention!

  Instead, Matthew kept their clothes on and just moved specific areas out of the way so that they could still connect with each other.

  …Luckily for them, no one had come while they were intimate.

  I suppose that was just another thing that made their intimacy even better!

  Really, I meant it when it was like new lovers, hell, even teenage lovers!

  Anywhere, anytime and that included near public or possible pces where people might potentially go!

  Matthew lost every ounce of pride or whatever it was that stopped him when it came down to being with Matilda! The thought that always got to him was how he hadn’t been with her all that time and how much he felt like he deserved to be with her now! It had to be destiny!

  Well, now that we got to the point of stating that the sex life between Matilda and Matthew was great, shall we move on?

  Matilda sighed, while zily still sitting on Matthew.

  A quote from a movie came to her and she giggled.

  “What?” Matthew asked, smiling.

  “If I was a cat, I’d purr!” Matilda said, pretty sure that that was the quote.

  “Oh?” Matthew kissed her forehead, “If you were a cat, I’d tell you to become human again.”

  Matilda ughed and closed her eyes. “The purring is supposed to be a compliment!”

  Matthew smiled, even though his beloved couldn’t see it, “A compliment, but if you are a cat, there would be so little that I could do with you.”

  Smiling herself, giddy with good feelings, Matilda then said, “Maybe I should just turn you into a cat as well then! We could purr together!”

  Matthew chuckled, “I don’t want to be a cat!”

  Little sweet nothings like this weren’t new with Matthew and Matilda but it was almost like these sweet nothings kept them close and happy.

  “What are you going to do?” Matthew asked, being a bit more business like now.

  Matilda sighed and looked back at him, she didn’t know if she was ready to have this conversation!

  Moving a bit of hair from her eyes, Matthew stared at her…He was besotted, absolutely and unquestionably besotted!

  “I suppose we should have this conversation.” Matilda stated. They had gone so long already and not once have they brought it up.

  Frowning, Matthew looked at Matilda and then away.

  Obviously, she’s talking about something else…

  Not fixing that fact that Matthew was talking about Nate, he looked at her curiously.

  A bit shy upon the topic, Matilda looked away, “I mean, do you even want…Another…”

  They hadn’t spoken about children in so long. As much as Matilda could remember, she had not wanted another child before her death, so she had not let it happen.

  Eyeing his bride and her obvious unsure look on her face, Matthew stayed silent…

  He wondered more about what she was thinking, feeling…The only thing that he wanted was for her to stay by his side…

  Even though Matilda knew she had started this conversation, knowing that Matthew had been thinking of Nate instead, she wondered if she should have just kept her mouth shut!

  He was waiting on her!

  His mind was like a pair of shoulder’s shrugging!

  How embarrassing!

  Putting her head into his chest, Matilda went quiet, hearing his thoughts on how adorable she was.

  “Stop it!” She mumbled into him.

  With a chuckle, Matthew put a hand on her head and kissed her hair. “You obviously know that I am happy if it happens, my love.”

  Matilda looked back at him and finally said, “And if it doesn’t?”

  And just like his mind, he shrugged. “Then it doesn’t.”

  It was like st time, he put the ball in her court and Matilda felt like she loved him even more at that moment.

  Putting her hands around his neck, she kissed him.

  Now, Matthew didn’t really think of anything!

  Matthew kissed her back happily and rummaged around with a hand, that was going under her clothes.

  Pcing his hand against her flesh, right on a butt cheek, Matthew smiled into her, as they stopped their kiss.

  He never showed anyone else on how much he was at being such a pervert!

  “We really shouldn’t continue!” Matilda stated, knowing already that she still had things to do, and the day was going to draw to a close without her permission!

  Matthew leaned down to her ear then, “I’ll admit, trying to have a baby with you sounds like pure delight!”

  Matilda knew then that not only was Matthew stating that he was not going to force the ‘Golden’ seed inside her, but he was also stating that at this point in time he may just want another child with her.

  Feeling one of his fingers move on her butt cheek, Matilda could already feel a ck of concentration coming over her. “Shall we leave it to chance then?”

  The topic was talked about now, so it was another little job done!
