  Also: Alchemist Ortez will see you again. Returning to the world of Trial of the Alchemist has always been in the cards, and Ortez never wandered far from my mind. When you meet up with him again, he will be a few years older as other familiar characters weave their way back into his story. While each new book will present its own mystery, relationships will evolve, and the stakes will always be personal. I am not the fastest writer in the world, and I hope this approach makes it easy to dip back into The Glass Dreamer—what I’m calling the series—even if it has been a couple of years since the last one.
