In the 1800s of the fictional States based on America, the West had fallen to a star which had landed and covered the land in darkness, thus dubbed the birth of a Demon Lord. After many failed attempts to investigate and reclaim the land, the Central Government soon ran into a dead end. In response to a desperate situation, through conflicts and wars, 18 individuals of different backgrounds, species, madness and purposes were gathered to charge forward into the West and claim the head of the Demon Lord with only one victor. Among the 18 candidates, the story of a Hero will unfold.
