In Nexus hands held three books, “Freya’s Legacy”, “Blessings of Divine” and “Gods and Men”. The problem is that those three books are around a thousand pages long and weigh about 100kg. Aside from that, Nexus had a relative unhindered, albeit tiring journey from Divine Sanctuary to High Priest Avalon’s Quarters.
Along the journey back, Nexus sneaked a peek at one of the books, “Freya’s Legacy”.
The rest of the book, from what Nexus glimpsed, goes on to talk about who and where the marks are found. Nexus took noticed of some of the locations but did not delve too deep into the specifics. The rest of the two books talk about the similar things.
But why is the old priest so interested in the Age of Gods?

Avalon bowed respectfully before leaving the Pope chambers, leaving Pope Taloni to his silent musings.

Nexus walked along the direction of the arrow, and soon arrived at a grandiose building, with the huge sigh “ACOLYTE CHAMBERS” written on top of it. In front of its majestic twin doors, stood a middle aged man crossing his arms, seemly waiting for the arrival of someone.

Saying that, Baron handed Nexus a white outfit, with the symbol of the Church of Freya on it. It looked like those outfits wore by Priests of the Church of Freya.
“Oh, those outfits are your new Acolyte outfits. Wear them as a symbol of you being a member of the Church of Freya. I am sure you would want to change out of those beginner outfits soon.”
Nexus only noticed that he is wearing the beginner outfit and quickly changed out of those.
Yes! 10% reduce mana usage should enable us me to use Holy Blade for a long period of time! Maybe it is not so bad after all.
With that, Nexus moved on to his dorm, anxious to meet his new roommate.

Tyle retired to his dorm, tired beyond measure, and lied down on his bed.
“Sigh…I wonder what happened to the new guy I saw. He probably was tricked by Avalon and got sentenced to repent now.”

“Wow, this room is big!”

Tyle, lifting his exhausted body up, looked on at who just barged into the room.
“You…are the new guy…”
Tyle looked on at the new arrival. He was wearing a white robe, similar to those that he is wearing except for the inclusion of the Church of Freya logo. And Tyle knows what it symbolises.
It can’t be…he actually became an Acolyte? What the hell is going on?

Nexus walked, by walking meaning pushing the door open and rushing in, to his dorm. The dorm was a huge dorm, unlike those dorms he had lived in before. However, the dorm is decorated by various engraving of Freya.
Unable to control himself, he exclaimed: “Wow, this room is big!”
Saying that, a status window popped in front of him
Just then, a tired voice sounded,
“You…are the new guy…”
Nexus looked down, and saw a corpse-like person lying on the bed.
“Ahhh…why is there a undead in here!”
“Quiet down, would you? You do not want Baron getting pissed…”
“You are alive?”
“Yes, although I pretty much dead now. My name is Tyle, what is yours?”
“Nexus. My name is Nexus.”
Saying that, Nexus sat on the bed:
“Oh, so you are my dorm mate. Nice to meet you.”
“You seemed pretty jovial at this. By the way, how did you become an Acolyte?”
At this, Nexus furrowed his brows
Was I not supposed to be a Acolyte?
“The Old Priest Avalon promised to make me a Acolyte, and he did.”
“He actually did it?”
“Was he not suppose to?”
“That old guy is a scammer. He promised me the same thing. Actually, he is using that as an excuse to drag you in as a free labour. You are supposed to be stopped by a barrier, thereby allowing him an excuse to accuse you of being evil, sentencing you to repentance.”
“What?!”
“I was sentence to repentance. However, I am close to completing it. If I completed the repentance, I could officially become an Acolyte. There used to be another person who is the same as me. He could not bear the repentance and I think he deleted his character.”
“…That old priest…What the fuck?!”
“Then again, why are you an Acolyte? You should be in repentance too!”
“...”
It must be The Feather of the Goddess. The holy aura must have allowed me to go through. I don’t think telling Tyle was a good idea though.
“Luck, I guess.”
“...Okay?”
With that, Nexus meet Tyle, first of the many friends, or enemies, to come…

“Looks like it has been 5 hours since I played Royal Road.”
Shi-Woo walked to the kitchen, finding that there is an dinner left for him in the kitchen.
