Chapter Eighty-Fifth: Brutal Tyranny

The scene of bullying newcomers was nothing new to the miners, they just treated it as a circus show, would they speak out to help? They wouldn't take the trouble themselves.

"Whose clothes are these in the bathroom? Why were they burned?"

Suddenly, several loud inquiries and splashing water sounds came from the bathroom, followed by a miner walking into the corridor with several burnt work uniforms, grumbling, "You can bully new recruits, but don't burn down the dormitory building."

"Haha, I guess another careless miner got cleaned up." Scarface Miner patted his belly, laughing uncontrollably, but soon discovered Nelson's gloomy face staring at Danton, suddenly realizing, "Those are our clothes?"

"It shouldn't be, is this kid so bold?" The gay miner thought it was impossible, "Didn't he come back for the soap?"

A miner in the dormitory stared at Danton with a fierce gaze, and several of them stood up, ready to beat him.

The miners in the corridor were shouting and cheering, it's not often that you see such a bold newcomer, but every time they would be beaten half to death.

"What's he staring at? Feed him his own piss." Nelson bellowed.

"That's right, just beating him once is too cheap for him, grab him to the toilet and drown him!" The scar-faced miner standing next to Tang Dun was the most violent, swinging his hand to slap his cheek.

Snap, Tong Dun stretched out his hand and grasped the scarred miner's wrist.

  "You all deserve to die!"

Danton's character was very kind, even when facing the corpse-eating ghosts, he had never mistreated them. However, these miners made him feel a deep-seated disgust and resentment.

If I weren't a mage, if I didn't have the power to protect myself, then today, not only would I have to drink that urine, but I'd also be bullied to death in the future.

"What did you say?" The gay miner deliberately showed a surprised expression, with a sarcastic face, "Do you think you are a mage, can take on ten people alone, and don't even open your dog eyes to look at your appearance, just like a stray dog on the street?"

"Kid, you've got guts. Say that again." Nielson stood up and pulled out a machete from under the bed, vowing to cut off the guy's Achilles tendon if he spoke out of turn once more.

Rustling sounds of chair legs scraping against the floor filled the air as a dozen or so miners stood up, absolutely not allowing the newcomer to challenge their status.

Squeezed in the crowd, seeing this scene, almost peeing.

The miners who were watching turned their attention to Tong Dun, expecting him to shrink back, but the guy didn't hesitate at all and shouted out directly.

"I say, you all deserve to die!"

Tang Dun swung the wooden basin in his hand and slammed it heavily towards the scarred miner.

"Beat him to death!" Nelson's voice had barely fallen when he saw the wooden basin smashing into the miner's head, bursting with blood and splintering into flying wood chips.

The queer miner pulled out a sharpened iron pipe from under the bed and stabbed it into Tangdon's thigh, while other miners also picked up their tools and rushed over to kill him.

The crowd of onlookers hastily retreated in a flurry, fearing they would be affected by association.

Tang Dun smashed the wooden basin to pieces, threw away the wooden block in his hand, clenched his fist and punched it directly at the scar-faced miner's jawbone.

"I'm going to kill you!" The scarred miner, furious and enraged, hadn't even finished his shout when he fell to the ground with a "crack" of breaking bones, his eyes rolling back in his head as he fainted.

Tang Dun suddenly pulled out a scarred miner and used him as a human shield to throw at the miners, while his right hand stretched down and grabbed an iron pipe with brute force.

The gay miner's strength is three times that of Tang Don, but he can't even hold onto the iron pipe for a second, and his palms are burning with friction.

Whoosh! The iron pipe swung in a semicircle with a whistling sound, and heavily slapped the gay miner's face.

Puff! The half-rotten yellow teeth of the gay miner were all knocked out, mixed with blood and sprayed out. His body also spun out and fell out, knocking over several miners.

The crowd gasped in shock, no one expected that with just a brief encounter, Nelson's two trusted henchmen would be taken down. It seemed the young man was not weak in combat, but this was only the beginning. The harder he counterattacked, the heavier the beating he would receive later on.

Dagger Mine, but it's a hunting ground where the weak are preyed upon by the strong.

If he couldn't suppress Tongdon, Nelson's prestige would plummet and his days as a foreman would be numbered, so he was furious.

"Come on, kill him, I'll take the blame if anything happens." Nielsen swung his machete at Danton's arm, but was deflected by an iron pipe.

In the midst of a deafening crash, Tong Dun's wrist shook, and he reversed his grip on the iron pipe, stabbing it into Nelson's thigh.

  Ah!

Nelson let out a blood-curdling scream as blood immediately spurted out, soaking his underwear and thighs, splattering the floor with a bloody mess.

Bang! A chair slammed into Tang Don's shoulder, bursting open and sending wooden splinters flying everywhere.

The miner who had just succeeded in his sneak attack hadn't even had time to launch a second blow when he was kicked in the stomach, sent flying through the air and crashed into the wall behind him before falling to the ground.

Danton pulled out an iron pipe and swung it backhand, hitting Nelson's temple.

Another crisp cracking sound, Nelson's face visibly deformed, his entire eyeball almost popping out.

This was still Downton showing mercy; otherwise, he would have been dead for sure.

The miners saw Tongdon's violent move, coupled with Nelson being knocked down, and subconsciously stopped in their tracks, but the two sides were too close, leaving no room for buffering.

Danton swung his massive fist, knocking aside the pickaxe of the nearest miner, quickly smashing into his arm, then kicked him over and moved on to the next one.

Miners were brutally battered, dense cracking sounds filled the air.

The onlookers were stunned, originally thinking that Tang Dun would be beaten to a pulp and at least bedridden for half a month, but unexpectedly he had formidable fighting skills and directly exploded Nelson and the others.

Looking at the miners who lay across the entire dormitory, either their arms or legs were broken and twisted irregularly after being hit, wailing incessantly, they all subconsciously closed their mouths.

The entire corridor was suddenly silent, with only the sound of iron pipes tearing through the air. Several miners who had been shouting just now, as if they were afraid that the world would not be chaotic enough, now had their eyes wandering around, using force to squeeze open the crowd behind them, wanting to leave.

"None of you may leave!" Tang Don roared.

In less than twenty seconds, Tong Dun flipped over a dozen miners from the dormitory entrance to the deepest part of the dormitory, and then he stepped over the injured miners and walked towards the corridor.

Some miners on the periphery saw that things were not going well and had dispersed.

"What's the reason for not letting us go? Everyone judge what is reasonable!" A miner shouted fiercely, wanting to make Tang Dun the target of public criticism. Before he had finished speaking, he was hit on the mouth with an iron pipe.

"Shut up!" With a kick, Tongton sent the garrulous miner flying and calmly wiped off the bloodstains on his iron pipe. "I said no leaving, so you can't leave."

The miners were stunned, their eyes darting back and forth, but not a single person dared to move. The entire corridor was instantly plunged into a deathly silence.

His entire body was trembling with excitement, he thought Tang Don was cool, comparable to a giant dragon, he yearned to be like him, living with dignity and status, rather than being bullied like a dog.

"What's there to be afraid of? He's just one person, we have so many miners, we can bury him alive." A miner who was shocked at first, felt too ashamed and shouted out loud.

Some of the onlookers also shouted, but soon fell silent, for a group of young miners armed with iron bars and pickaxes burst into the corridor.

"Dongdun work head, we have arrived." The several trusted followers who were promoted to show off immediately gathered their troops after receiving the news that Dongdun was blocked.

Of course, not all miners came, and some who didn't think much of Tongdun didn't show up, choosing to watch from the sidelines instead.

"What? Isn't this Cook's miner? What's with calling this kid foreman?"

"Impossible, isn't this his first day at the dagger mine? How did he directly become a foreman?"

"I heard it at dinner time, a new kid took down Cook and his loyalists, it was him."

"Nielson has really kicked an iron plate this time."

The miners talked, and this time they looked at Tong Dun with a gaze that was no longer playful and mocking, but added a touch of envy and jealousy. On the first day he came to the mine, he became the leader, which meant he didn't have to do those dirty and tiring jobs anymore.

"Alright, let's disperse, everyone. If we gather for too long, the supervisor will come and it won't be good for anyone!" An older miner with some seniority came out to mediate, but his tone was no longer tough, instead carrying a hint of flattery and inquiry.

In the mine, as long as you have strength, you can get respect and awe.

"Miners who came today will each be rewarded with ten gold coins, and tomorrow you won't have to work!" Lord Downton patted his trusted aide on the shoulder, very pleased, and loudly proclaimed.

"Hurray, the foreman is wise!" The more than 20 miners who rushed over originally thought there would be a fierce battle, but unexpectedly the foreman directly blew them up, and didn't even exert himself, not to mention getting paid for doing nothing and being able to take a rest day, it's truly a great deal.

"What's more, there's money to be made?" The miners' eyes widened as they heard Downton's reward, ten gold coins, which was equivalent to their monthly salary for working hard outside.

Dangton deliberately let these people hear, he believed that in less than three days, the news would spread to everyone, and when the time came, it would be much easier for him to take action against other gang leaders and recruit miners.

Miners are not stupid. Following a rich boss is better than following a poor one, and their combat power seems to be off the charts.

"Boss, you're really something." The trusted followers saw the miserable state of Nelson and others in the dormitory. After flattering Tang Don to a great extent, they were also shocked and did not dare to have any disobedient thoughts.

"Alright, you guys, scatter! Throw these guys into the toilet and then sweep the dormitory." Tang Dun waved his hand, the mine supervisor had great power, it's best not to mess with them now, or else it won't be easy to handle.

The dormitory was immediately cleaned up by the kind-hearted people. They thought it was an opportunity for the workers to get in touch with their emotions, and they didn't even let the ordinary miners move.
