The First One, now the Only One finished its slow trek through the second floor and finally made its way to the Third.
Upon witnessing the new layer the Invader cursed under its breath.
"Having Senior Sister Wang here would be of great help" It added after a while with a sigh.
Senior Sister Wang? Was that The Crazy One or The Second One?
It took a step forward and then another one, each one faster than the one before but still not approaching any of the normal speeds of the average human.
When it was submerged up to the waist it paused on its journey and looked down at the Vampiric Fish trying and failing to bite through its skin.
"I also don't recognise any of those, will have to get any of the Beast Tamers to take a look and see if they are worth something" It muttered while scoping a fish out and taking a closer look at it.
In the process The Only One got bitten on the nose but it didn't faze it as the teeth failed to break through even the outermost layer of skin.
With no issues it threw away the fish and ignored the splash that resounded as the monster got bludgeoned to death due to her high impact collision with the nearest wall.
The Invader continued its slow walk through the floor, this time ignoring every monster instead of blindly attacking them.
It did however put both a Mirage Lily and Hypnos Lotus in its ring.
When it saw the entrance to the next floor, it visibly sagged.
"Curse Senior Sister Wang for leaving me behind, since when did anybody abandon a mission because of something as simple as an unbreakable wall? Just because the structure is indestructible doesn't mean the owner is! He's not even spying on us!" Its voice got progressively louder with each word till it yelled out the last syllable.
With clenched fists it took a deep breath and jumped into the hole that contained the stairs leading to the next floor.

Weirdly, this one didn't use the stairs the same way the Swordsman did but instead choose to swim above them.
Either way worked but The Core couldn't help but wonder why there was such a difference in approach.
Was it because one of them used their hands and the other a sword?
When it emerged from the water it seemed surprised to find the fourth floor completely free of it.
"How? I don't sense any Qi that would stop the flow of water?" It said, forgetting to quieten itself in a hostile environment.
There was a new type of energy named Qi? Which one of them did the Swordsman use? Gu, Qi or Resentment? And can The Core harvest whatever energy the first Invader had, when it is, on a fundamental level, incapable of interacting with anything that wasn't mana or its own creation.
Maybe it could change the blueprint? Surely some other organ out there can act as a replacement? And if there isn't, how hard can making a new organ be? It recreates exisiting ones all the time, after all.
While it was pondering these thoughts The Only One exited out of the water fully and began to shake itself off in the hopes of drying faster.
Another difference from the Swordsman who with just a flick of his wrist managed to dry himself completely.
When it got sufficiently dry, which meant its clothes were still waterlogged but at least its skin wasn't as wet, it continued its trudge.
As it got near the treeline it seemed to notice something being wrong.
It stopped just outside of the range for the closest False Fruits to properly attack and stared at them.
"These fruit contain life force... Is that normal for fruit of this species? I've never seen them before... Senior Sister Wang would have known." It added the last part quite bitterly.
The Core wanted to know which of its precious companions was this Senior Sister Wang, the Only One seemed to place a great deal of faith in its capabilities and knowledge so figuring out who it was and killing the biggest threat faster would greatly help it in progressing the dungeon without much danger.
With slumped shoulders The Only One took a step forward and immediately got attacked.
It seemed more surprised than someone who suspected the fruit to be living beings should be.
Nonetheless the False Fruits were dealt with swiftly even with the continuous support of the Spectre Trees and the Nature Deer who was called over to the front of the floor because of the noise the human first made when entering the floor.
When the Human murdered the last False Fruit it set its sight on the Nature Deer, who stood no chance against someone of such strength.
The Core felt despondent at seeing its Nature Deer, the one who managed to kill its first ever Invader, dead at the hands of the third one.
The monster did however manage to inflict some manner of damage, only scratches that didn't even break skin, but it gave The Core hope as it watched the Interloper make its way to the Fifth floor.
