Chapter 19: I Lost It.
(Celia’s POV)
Her hand was still on my head, and I didn’t resist Vanessa prodding into my memories for a bit. She was very careful, and soon, I won’t remember this terrible truth. I felt a slight pain in my head, and when I next opened up my eyes, the woman was… just sitting on the couch like she was before.
Before? No, no… Vanessa didn’t get up at all. Why did I think that? Regardless, her being Maralia’s mother is very interesting. Somehow, I tend to end up meeting those related to my family. How odd…
Vanessa: “Are you okay? You had closed your eyes for sometime now, so I am worried…” She asked with a coaxing tone.
Celia: “Did I? Hm… I guess that I am tired, or something. Sorry.” I reply with an embarrassed tone.
Vanessa: “Perhaps you should rest soon? Anyway, what is your relationship with Faith and Sava? You haven’t told me yet, as we got derailed by you being my daughter’s wife.” She asked with a giggle.

Celia: “Sava is one of my adoptive mothers, and Faith is inside my soul at the moment.” I answered.
Vanessa: “( ’-’ ~)”
Still a little shocked, Vanessa got up from her seat, and then she made her way toward me. Then, she sat down next to me, and also grabbed hold of my hand.
Vanessa: “Are you really there in her soul, Faith?” She asked.
Faith: “I am! Honestly, I never expected to run into you…” She quickly answered.
It should be noted that, like how I talk to Faith, Vanessa was talking to her via our minds as well. I didn’t realize that such a method existed, but, considering our race and power, I am probably just not creative enough…
Vanessa: “How did this happen? And… does Sava know? On top of that, your soul is damaged somewhat.” She asked with a half thinking pose. One of her hands was in use, you see.
Faith: “I don’t know how I ended up in Celia’s soul, I just did. At the current moment, my soul is almost healed, and will definitely be fully healed by the time that the game ends.” She answered.
Celia: “Sava doesn’t know, as, in Faith’s words, if she did, then Sava would end up killing me.” I add.
Vanessa: “Faith, you distrust your mother too much. I sense her divinity within Celia, and giving such a benefit like that to someone… Let’s just say that Sava is very unlikely to kill Celia.” She scolded.
Faith: “I know, I know. I just want to stay with Celia longer, so I lied about it. After all, I won’t be Celia’s wife until her next life.” She replied with a laugh.
You lied!? Ah, all my trust in her as… hasn’t lessened at all. I get her reasoning, but I am still a little bit upset at the lie. Wait a minute… does that mean she had already fallen in love with me even before she admitted as such? Ah, I am such a sinful woman…
