Chapter 34: Lamenting the Slime God, I Strove to get Stronger!

  (Celia’s POV)

  With the taste of that amazing meal still deeply lingering in my mouth and thoughts, I continued on my sughter. You know… I thought that I very much valued most living beings, but…

  Since it is clear that I don’t value males at all, and how I have killed various monsters in my life, perhaps I am not as saintly as I think myself as? Whatever the truth, it won’t change me, or get me to try to live differently.

  Ssh!

  Faith: “Wow… Now that you’ve killed this monster, and though it took a month, haven’t we killed them all now?” She expressed with a proud tone.

  Celia: “…We? I did all the killing, girl.” I reply with a raised eyebrow.

  Faith: “I am here supporting you, Celia. As such, I get credit for your kills as well.” She smugly cimed.

  Celia: “(>3<)”

  Faith: “Suck kissable lips…” She said with a lewd tone.

  Celia: “…”

  I gotta stop doing that, it is apparently far too seductive for Faith to handle. Anyway, ignoring that whole thing, Faith was correct. While I didn’t kill everything on the map that Ino made for me, I sughtered all that I was okay with killing.

  This was a very liberating feeling, I am not going to lie. Of course, Ino couldn’t possibly know of every powerful monster around, and I haven’t checked my Status after I did once I killed the Slime God, but my Status should be great right now.

  Even if I am missing out on EXP, I doubt that I will feel regretful. All this said, now I am greatly anticipating seeing my Status… Faith was also excited.

  Faith: “Check your Status already, Celia!” She ordered.

  Celia: “Can’t you peep on it without my permission?” I asked in reply.

  Faith: “I can, but I am not a rapist! What do you take me for?” She pouted.

  Celia: “A woman, who I greatly respect. One that I know will treat me well in my next life.” I answered with a coaxing tone.

  Faith: “S-stop that…” She said with a bashful tone.

  Celia: “Oh? And why should I? We cannot be together in this life, but that doesn’t mean that I cannot flirt with you.” I replied with a smug tone.

  Faith: “Keep flirting with me… and I won’t be able to resist kidnapping you away from your other wives in your next life, as well as keeping you all to myself.” She answered with an oddly serious tone.

  Celia: “( o_o)”

  How foolish can one Highest Goddess be? I keep forgetting that all of my wives are super yanderes, and I need to tread carefully around. Luckily, they’re mostly sane, so I am safe 99% of the time. For some reason, I just cannot register that Faith is the same as they are…

  Faith: “Enough flirting! Check your Status out!” She ordered once more.

  Celia: “Between you and me, will there ever be enough flirting?” I ask with a thinking pose.

  Faith: “You know the answer to that question already… Check. Your. Status!” She replied with a bossy tone.

  Celia: “Kay!” I agreed.

  But… soon we were silent, as my Status was… Wow!!!
