"So, everyone is here."
Nacht faced the group of magiights that would participate in the raid.
All the Magiights captains and four members of the Magic Equipment Research Lab members were the members of the first party.
The raid team was divided introups.
First, Nacht and the current members.
Sed would be all the stro members of all the magiights' Squads.
And stly, Alex would join them as the single unit but everyone knew in terms of strength alone, he surpassed all the magiights and magiights captains.
"I am surprised that you are not ing with us but join ter." Nacht looked at Alex who was standing with Julius looking at the raid team.
Alex smiled lightly and sighed. "Who made me the Magic Emperor of the Clover Kingdom? I will have to stay back at least until I make sure that the Clover Kingdom and all the citizens are safe. After all, in a desperate situation, even a ered rat would bite you."
Nacht chuckled and nodded his head. He uood that the thing stopping Alex from going ahead was the responsibility on his shoulders.
"And what about Lady Mereoleona?!" Nacht looked around and asked.
Alex could not help but ugh. "You sure know how to be funny, Vice-captain. Do you seriously think that she will join this team and go with you? At this moment, she is already in the Spade Kingdom. If you waste too much time here, she will start attag without you guys."
"Then we ot let her wait." Charlotte quickly said.
Yuno faced Asta and said. "e early or I will end everything before you..."
Jack grinned and cut him off. "Haw Haw! That won't be you, kid. It will be me!"
Nozel snorted, "Hmph! It won't be you either..."
Nacht chuckled and quickly used his shadow magic to open a path to the Spade Kingdom.
'Shadow Magic: Shadow Corridor!'
"It will be us!" Nozel decred before he followed Nacht into the pathway with everyone else.
"It is time to end everything..." Alex muttered softly...
In the Spade Kingdom
"Well, well, well. Would you look at that?"
Sitting in his b and looking at one of the many monitors mounted on his wall, a small smile appeared on Moris's face.
On the monitor, he could see a group of familiar faces.
"Moris."
Walking into the room and carrying an air of seriousness around him, Zenon called out to the magic schor.
"I know." Moris smiled and looked at another s.
"The remnants of the former royal family have finally shown themselves."
Outside the castle
A group of people wearing white robes stood oop of a clock tower.
The group was led by an old man with short light-color hair that was swept back, a mustache, and a goatee. He had a scar running from his forehead down across his o his left cheek.
Albert shouted at the top of his lungs, amplifying his voice with mana.
"Listen up, Dark Triads!! 17 years ago you killed our king and many of our rades. Ever sihen, you have used the citizens in abominable ways! We ever five you for these things! We, the people of the Spade Kingdom... refuse to aowledge your family... as our rules!!!"
Albert and others khat no matter how much they tried they could not defeat the Dark Triads in direct frontation. So, they could only pin their hopes on Alex and Nacht.
While the speech was still going on, the raid team had infiltrated the Spade Kingdom Castle.
Suddenly, the ground trembled and a terrifying pressure enveloped the surroundings.
Even the raid team members could feel it.
'This rumbling... Don't tell me-'
Suddenly, the ground split opened a massive Demon appeared in front of the members of the resistand the citizens, sg the shit out of them.
The Demon was huge in size but it was nothing pared to devils and devils hosts. It was just a glorified mass of mana with legs
"This sound... this stupendous magic!!" Fuegoleon furrowed his brows and asked in worry.
"Are the ones outside all right?!"
"They are fine!" Nacht smiled lightly and replied.
Just as he finished, another familiar mana signature erupted from the outside of the castle.Oher side
A figure draped in bck robes shot at a tremendous speed towards the rge Demon. Her arm was covered with bck color before fmes erupted over her hand and Mereoleona puhe massive mass of mana with a single fist.
"Impressive Howlings... Members of Resistance!" Mereoleona grinned and shouted excitedly. "Today, I Mereoleona Vermillion, Will Bee A Demon Syer!"
Spade Castle Ground Floor
"Did you guys feel that?"
The raid members sehat mana and smiled excitedly sihey were pretty familiar with that mana signature.
"Mereoleona!"
"Lady Vermillion!"
"Big Sis!"
Feeling her mana, many gasps escaped from the mouths of the Clover raid team members.
"Let's hurry!" Charlotte yelled running alongside Rill. "We'll leave the outside to Lady Vermillion and take care of things in here!"
The raid team quickly divided into groups and challehe three members of the Dark Triads.
Oher hand, back at the Clover Kingdom
"Where are you going, Asta?"
Watg Alex turn around to leave, Julius asked curiously.
Alex grinned and replied. "Sihe situation demands for it, I am going t out my big guns!!"
"B-Big guns?" Julius was dumbfounded, w what he was going to do.
Alex ignored Julius and jumped down from the top floor, as he flew towards the royal pace.
To fight against the legions of devils, Alex could still fight for a long time but he needed some strong shadow soldiers to help him in his quest.
And now, the time had e to finally awaken the brave souls sleeping peacefully uhe ground.
Most of the previous Magic Emperors were buried he capital, only a few passed away otlefield.
Alex sighed since he didn't want to use this method but he had to resort to it to deal with the dangerous situation.
'Dive me for disturbing your sleep? But... the world needs your power once more!...'
Alex took a deep breath and stared at the graves in front of his eyes with a solemn expression.
"Arise!!"
BOOM!!
A storm of mana burst out, creating a massive explosion of mana as the sounds of ghosts covered the entire pce.
Alex's facial muscles could not help but tilt upwards as a grin found its way onto his handsome face, watg the previous geions of Magic Emperors answering to his call.
