*Saige is sleeping in the back of old Betty, then all the sudden, there’s a bump in the road that bounces up the car. Saige then gets awakened up. “Ah! Hey, what’s going on?”, he says. “We’re almost there.”, says Mai. “To where again?”, asks Saige. “The Emerald Kingdom.”, says Mai. “The Emerald Kingdom, huh? Good. I’m going back to sleep.”, says Saige.

  Kelsey then slaps him awake. “Kelsey, the hell!?”, says Saige. “White Talon, you gotta be awake for this mission. Remember, Az-”, says Kelsey, right before getting cut off by Gregory. “Ah! SHUSH! Remember, we could be getting followed.”. “Why don’t we just shoot that ass out of the sky?”, asks Saige with a slightly irritated look from being awoken. “You don’t think I thought of that? I haven’t seen anything in the sky for hours. Well there were flying demons, but I shot them down.”, says Mai. “Nice. Well whatever, let’s just get to Emerald Kingdom.”, says Saige.

  The crew finishes driving to the Emerald Kingdom and drive into the city. The crew look out the window to see maybe two or three skyscrapers, but mainly buildings of about two to three stories around, as the Emerald Kingdom generally looks like a humble urban city. “Whoa another city.”, says Saige. There’s then demons in casual clothes walking down a sidewalk. “Ah! Demons!”, shouts Mai. Mai aims the car turret at them and fires.

  “Ah, what the hell!?”, says one of the demons. The group of demons then runs off around a corner. Let’s pursue them!, says Mai. A police officer immediately pursues them from the city gate, and stands in front of their car. “Stop your fire this instant!”, says the police officer. “But there’s demons getting away!”, says Mai. “I know you must be confused, but they are civilians.”, says the police officer.

  “Civilia- what?”, says Mai. Saige then cuts in, “You probably didn’t see what we saw, officer, so let me tell you again. Those were demons! D-E-M-O-N-S! And they’re getting away!” The police officer looks at them sternly.

  Later on, the crew stand in a parking lot with old Betty and the police chief nearby. “So you’re telling me these demons are civilians.”, asks Gregory. “Yes.”, says the police officer. “And they weren’t humans transformed into those demons?”, asks Gregory. “No.”, says the police officer. “Just regular demons.”, asks Gregory. “Yes.”, says the police officer. Mai and Saige give the officer a weird look.

  The officer further explains, “Listen, we know, as newcomers, that it’s weird sounding, but in the Emerald Kingdom we welcome demons to make a new life for themself.” “Oh this is some bull. How are you allowing demons to live here?”, says Saige.

  The officer continues to explain, “After the war, demons didn’t have another place to go after the defeat of Azrael. So they roamed the Earth, finding random means to survive, picking fights. Then, suddenly, our own leader, Queen Evelin, stumbled upon a Demon settlement outside the kingdom.” “A demon settlement?”, asks Mai.

  The officer continues, “That’s right. This settlement was actually a stable place, but it was in a poor condition. Queen Evelin then wanted to offer the demons better living conditions and so she offered them to stay in the Emerald Kingdom. At first, our human populus feared them, but through embracing our virtues of freedom and respect for our fellow beings, humans learned to live with demons. And now, here we are.

  “That’s quite a story.”, says Gregory. “Well it’s quite true. You know it’s a good thing we stopped you when you did or we could’ve put you down for a murder charge.”, says the police officer. “Damn.”, says Saige. “I mean we already arrested a couple of people today too for doing the near same thing.”, says the officer. “A couple of.. wait wait, did they have cars like ours?”, asks Gregory. “Why yes they did.”, says the officer. “Where are these people now?”, asks Gregory. “Like I said, arrested. They’re in jail now.”, says the officer. “Jail!?”, says the crew in unison.
