Gregory, Kelsey and Mai salute toward Gregory in Gregory’s living room. “We’re ready!”, says Mai. “Ready to kick some ass sir!”, says Saige. “And to show off the qualities of a hero!”, says Kelsey. “That’s good, but remember, this mission is a secret. So don’t blurt it out loud.”, says Gregory.

  They then exit Gregory’s quarters and enter the underground garage, where they meet Roman, Jax and several others, as well as General Richter. “Whoa, alot of people.”, says Saige. “It’s like the whole family’s here.”, says Mai. Roman and Jax then greet them and handshake Gregory. “Roman and Jax!”, says Saige. “Eh, there’s the little pipsqueak.”, says Roman. “Who you calling a pipsqueak?”, says Saige. The two then stare each other down. “Stop, we’re on the same side, remember.”, says Mai. “Ha, let them be.”, says Gregory.

  Mai then faces Jax and asks, “How are you doing Jax?”. “Cool.”, Jax responds. “That’s good to hear.”, says Mai. “So many heroes gathered into one place. It’s got me pumped up!”, says Kelsey.

  General Richter then stands on top of a car and shouts, “Okay, everyone gather around!”. “Oh General Richter’s about to make an announcement.”, says Mai. Everyone then gathers up. General Richter starts speaking, “Azrael, that’s who we’re going for today. But approaching this won’t be an easy task. For who knows what type or amount of demon we’ll be dealing with blocking our way. And then there’s facing Azrael for that matter. It will be best fought if we did it together. Now, as some of you may know, and the rest of you I’m telling now, Azrael is located in Diamante Kingdom.”

  Random chatter about Diamante Kingdom arises among them.

  General Richter continues, “Yes, I know. I know. It’s a pain in the ass we’re dealing with. On top of that, what I hear is we have a spy working directly for Azrael too. Now these are some seemingly impossible odds, but that’s why we have a strategy. We’ll be leaving after dusk at different times from each team heading, on a track for the Emerald Kingdom. Upon reaching the Emerald Kingdom, you’ll strategize by asking around others for a way to get into Diamante Kingdom. But don’t let anyone catch onto the plan.”

  People begin to bicker and complain.

  “That’s the plan! That’s how we’ll see it through!”, says General Richter. “I knew people wouldn’t agree with it.”, says Gregory. “Once inside Diamante Kingdom, we begin the search for Azrael.”, says General Richter. “What about finding a place to settle!?”, asks Roman. “I leave that up to you all.”, says General Richter.

  People just bicker and complain more loudly.

  “This is the best plan we got! If anyone else has a better strategy then state it.”, says General Richter.

  Everyone shuts up

  “No? That’s what I thought. Now get ready. We leave at dusk.”, says General Richter.

  Later on, as it gets nearer to the time of dusk, Gregory, Kelsey, Mai, Saige, Roman and Jax are near old Betty, the junker buggy, in the garage. “This plan is gonna suck.”, says Roman. “I agree.”, says Gregory. “But hey, at least we’ll get to kick some Azrael ass.”, says Saige. Roman chimes in, “If we manage to reach Azrael. Oi the bugger may even over hear our plan before we move in. Then you’ll got us caught being stood up in Diamante Kingdom, of all places.”. “Why do you talk about Diamante Kingdom like it‘s real bad?”, asks Saige.

  Roman starts to explain, “Let me tell you a story Saige. There was a war, before the Human Demon War called the War Of The Five Kingdoms-”. “Already heard it.”, says Saige. “Damn, from who?”, asks Roman. “From King Jesse.”, says Saige. Roman goes on, “Well la-di-da, boy got told a story from the mouth of royalty. Well let me not go into detail then. Anyway, skipping to Diamante Kingdom, they are ruthless money beggars in power, who tax their people into the ground.”. “Tax?”, asks Saige.

  Roman explains, “It’s when you make people pay extra to the government, ontop of what they’re already paying. Ontop of that, their government system was corrupt back in the day and the king lived filthy rich as the civilians lived in a poor state.”. “That doesn’t sound fair.”, says Saige.

  Roman continues, “No, it wasn’t. And since the Human and Demon War, the king’s son who took over, ‘King Desmond’, has apparently continued to treat the kingdom the same way”. “Why don’t people just beat him up?”, asks Saige. “Eh, I dunno. People lost their spirits and the government is too strong for them.”, says Roman. “Oh yeah, well what if I came in?”, asks Saige. “You do that and King Desmond will have your head. He was notorious for taking off the heads of people who disagreed with the government.”, says Roman.

  “Damn. So he’s like a demon himself.”, says Saige. “Like a demon, yes.”, says Roman. “I gotta learn more of the War Of The Five Kingdoms by sometime. “, says Mai. “Did you serve in the war.”, asks Kelsey. “Ha, oh no. That war was long done, before the Human and Demon War started.”, says Roman. Roman then looks at his digital watch. “Well we gotta get going. Gotta head out at our designated time. Come on Jax.”, says Roman. “Alright alright.”, says Jax. The two then leave and wave goodbye, as Gregory, Kelsey, Mai and Saige wave goodbye back.

  “Almost time for us to leave too.”, says Gregory. “This is really going to be an adventure.”, says Kelsey. “Yup, a very dangerous adventure. Hope you’re ready.”, says Gregory.
